this game really rocks it let me play overnight just to make my A.C the ultimate of them all i will give you all hints on how on beating the feared ultimate nine-ball. well to start it all you should make an A.C thats is a heavy-weight and carry large missiles and most favored KARASAWA Plasma Rifle a medium power fast reload time weapon good for fast strafe and best for both heavy slow-moving A.C's and light-weight but low armor points.
firing both the rifle and the missile in alternate way may cause huge damage even to 9-ball or Another option way (which is cheaper)make a Quad leg A.C a spider legs can move fast and using the small but not so powerful laser rifle and the laser cannon that can be get from an arena opponent make short job against 9-ball.WARNING this A.C is cheap but powerful in both missions and arena but it has one weak point IT DOESNT HAVE MUCH ENERGY for the WEAPONS

Man pimped this game is great but once you beat it the game gets a little boring..... :( but its fun inbetween lol An old game is a good game not all old games are bad well Dragonball Z ultimate battle 22 is that game sucks Armored Core is fun to the core ehhe if you know what I mean but this game has so many things Ive only played this armored core game well this game rules my guy with the huge missles rules too!

Basically and so briefly I would like to say:"Agetech is the company that should be proud", because "Armored Core is the game that everybody was dreaming of", but some improvements on the pixils, sound, and some more weapons would've made it more loved (like say the rating would be over 10!)

this game is fast paced and keeps you interested. i find the real challenge is finding the perfect mecha weapon armor combo to conquer the arena and misions. The only thing i didnt like was the choice of emblems and the limited coler schemes.ive never played phantasma but all in all i'd venture to say this is my favorite armored core game or mecha game in the playstation catagorie.i liked the explosions and the way they made the weopons with individual sounds styles ect. the game appeals to your typical shoot em ups your crafters and role players in some aspects. But the playability is high and i like the speed, yet at the end you still ask "what now"?

Having the idea of creating your own mecha from scratch, arm it and let it raise hell is one way of having a whole lot of fun, but then when you think the game's great, it feels like it's not enough; the challenges in the game (especially the Submarine mission) can take a lot on one's fingers, plus the new weapons which come with each battle in the Arena. Plus with your saved file, pit your design against a bud and see which of you burns the brightest.
Though the game's placed into 2cds, the game isn't much compared to AC-Project Phantasma, where the missions are more than the Arena mode. Another 'con' point to this is that some weapons that were once found in AC-PP (Project Phantasma) were 'deliberatly' weakened (good example: WA-Finger), and... well, the feeling that you get when you finish the game ("that's it? that's how it all ends?"). Hope this could be fixed soon. Anyways, not a game to turn down, this is a really finger-buster for the action-player and shouldn't be overlooked; Try the game, play and deal it... it's a great game from Software.

Master of Arena adds together everything a picky gamer like myself could ever want. The sound fx are absolutely awesome. The absolutely only thing about the game that did not score a 10 with me and it still scored an 8.5, only because when you play it for as long as I did, they get slightly monotonous. Gameplay is out of this world. There is nothing else like it (other Armored Cores aside). The soundtrack is expansive and completely zones you into the game. The graphics quality is far beyond what you expect from such a long and immersive game. Replay value, do I need to go there? I myself built 9 completely different ACs all of which had to be played with comletely different strategies. However, even after this review, I have to say that I cannot recommend this game to anyone. If you value your job or your education, do not start playing this game. You may never put it down!

I thought that armored core master of the arena was a great game, if you've played the game then you should know what I'm talking about but if not then your missing out on a great game. The graffics desurve a 10 sound deserves a 10 and overall game play and user compatibility is simple and awesome to play. The only problem is that the 2 computer stores in my mall don't carry it and the cheapest I've seen it online is about $35.00 so if (ANYONE) see it for under $30.00 email me at www.Wiseguy1or2< remove me > at bolt.com It would be much appriciated THANKS!!!

Armored Core master of Arena is much like the other Armored Core games. It has tons of action and great gameplay but what makes MoA special?? how about the chalange, the EXArena and other really great add ons. This is a really good game, and if you have ever played Armored Core for playstion and liked it BUY THIS GAME!! There is a problem though there is a problem with the radar on the first players screen in battle, and is a little short, but the replay deserves an 11... Worth Buying
