I've read about everyone using the 2 swords ability for knights and duping Excaliburs... but i prefer putting the 2 sword ability on a high level monk, this allows him to double attack. combined with a bracer and earth clothes... also give him basic skill as his support ability. you just accumulate about 5 times and watch your attack power skyrocket. i think accumulate was MADE for monks because when using a weapon it doesnt seem to affect your strength as dramatically... the earth clothes are nice for monks because you can make a battalion of 5 monks with 2x attack and accumululate with earth clothes, start lining them up one behind another to do earth slash and when you are attacking you are also healing your buddies. not to mention healing them for more than any cure spell or fiary summon in the game. forget swords... bare handed fighting is where its at.
this also works with a ninja if you give him martial arts and punch art... but he doesnt get to accumulate.
P.S. female monks arent as powerful but they can equip ribbons and chartush's making them invulnerable to all status ailments and immortal. i reccomend using at least 2 or 3 female monks in the party for this reason... with the chartush they always come back next turn.

This is by far the greatest game I have ever played! It has the perfect combination of tactical fighting mixed with and rpg style game. The classes and characters are great and there are a ton of hidden items and secret characters. I myself did find the end of the game to be extremely easy since I made sure to get all the best equipment and was able to kill the boss of the game in around 6 hits which was onlyh because of it having 2 forms. It was fun and many parts were fairly hard yet everything was balanced and quite possible to do. A great game that everyone should own and I recommend for anyone to buy!

My friend bought it a few years back and found out his PS broke. He gave it to me to try it out. I fought the first battle and saw the strategy in it, and was hooked. My friend had to force it away from me! The graphics are old-school, kind of, but when I look at a game, I look for the gameplay. The gameplay was awesome, and the characters were sweet. The only thing I wish was that you can get the special jobs, and I couldn't get an Archaic Demon from Wiegraf when you fight his monster form, Velius. But all in all, awesome game, requires strategy, and for once, you don't need a high level character to beat it. (My new file I have, I got through the first three chapters around level 25. Ramza, which I nicknamed Ryu, is at level 31, and I am at Murond, Death City.) So, I say to Squaresoft, Good game. Make more like this one!

I've been searching for cheats for final fantasy tactics and alot of them said that you can become a dark knight like gafgarion, I've gone to over 35 websites and they all say the same thing... Has any1 unlocked the Dark Knight job??? And if you have can you tell me how because I've done everything they said, I've restarted the game close to 5 times and i dont want to spend another 7 hours to get to chapter 2 :.(

Let me think back the the first time I played FFT, first battle difficult, but passible. The third battle was the kicker for me "Dorter Trade City" my party parrished there more than any spot in any FF game. Without leveling up and with not completly grapsing job classes and abilities, i was helpless hopeless, but.. then you start to understand what is going on, the very STRONG stroryline draws you in and you don't leave you bedroom for anything, days... nights pass, leveling up by that second day you can do it with your eyes closed
Graphics: this game is old, those graphics were great in its time.
Sound: I downloaded the sound trrack and play it when i drive.
Gameplay: well you do not need to know any combo moves, simply stellar gameplay.
Replay Value: I have put blood tears and sweat trying to get every item in the game, getting all characters to LV 99 then doing it again, BUT i must confess I am currently in my "LAST QUEST" I have put to much of my life (my bro is also doing the same)into one game. So after this quest it gets a neverending battle against The Bloody Angel.
Overall Rating: Unequaled A++ good night

I've played this game a while back but I can never get enough of it. I am a master at all FF's from 1 to 9. I have yet to play X, X2 and 11 but I will soon. I dont have time anymore but I can answer any question about any FF game my friends called me the book cuz I knew so much about FF7 and FF tactics. Right now I am working on FF Tactics advanced<--- GOOD GAME! But back to the subject, to all my hardcore FF gamers good luck and feel free to contact me for ant Q/A to anything about ANY! FF game.

if u like any finial fantasy games that u'll like this game. this game is a majot enprovement. this game has it all from 5 races to getting to chouse ur job witch their are a massive amounts of jobs. this game is also cool because it makes u work to get the other jobs. not to meantion that their are 300 missions so u wont beat this game vary fast unlike the other games. their is one down side to this game their is not much of a stroy line. other than that this game rocks. so if fu like final fantasy games than u'll love this game. it's a must buy for gba (GameBoy Advanced).

Hey ive played many FinalFantasy games and well ive beatin alot of them but this ive beatin but it still was hard considering that its a diffrent kinda FinalFantasy game wich is very cool you must play this great rpg its loaded with so many things and races and jobs and people and places and its fun and hard! Also if you palay this game the story line is fun and its mysterous. If you havent played befor play now or download it of other sites well i have to go but im cool nah im playing but i didbeat almost all the FinalFantasy games.

This is the best game in the world. I just got it 3 days ago and I can't beat the battle where there are 2 archers, a knight, and 2 dark mages. Does NE1 have any pointers? This is my first FF game. I LUV IT! I have a theif, an archer, 2 squires, 2 knights, and a chemist. I used to have a white mage, but she died. :(

Final Fantasy Tactics blows other rpg PS games away! The only problem with this game is it isn't long enough, but it makes up for that with cool battles, sweet characters, and awesome spells/attacks. I love the graphics and i'm alittle mad they made Tactics Advance for Gameboy Advance instead of PS2!

He never let there be another wrong sacirfice like what happened to Delita's sister Teta in Chapter 1. He found out that the Holy Stone that he heard about in church were Evil (*_*). He killed the humans who joined their souls with the stones and in the end killed St. Ajora. The End

At first i thought this game is like a chess game but having played it made me realize that i was wrong and this is the best rpg game squaresoft have ever made. I made the ultimate warriors especially magic types of character. If u guys wanna have fun with spells try learning all the Calculators skill, learn all magic from priest to oracle, having done all that put math skill as secondary ability and assign that character as a summoner, there u go u hav all magic available in one character. I hav 4 summoner; 2 regular characters, Rafa and Reis. Its really tight u only need one of these characters to beat all monsters in one battle. However, i need help guys is there a way i can get the assassin job class?

thats nice the only reason i like ninjas are because u can get the 2 hand ability, then i just switch back to a knight and dupe a good sword.. right now im only in ch 4 a little bit and the best sword i have is excalibur, with 2 of those i do a minimum of 800 damage because i do 400 twice.. so anything i come up to is basically screwed.. wiegraf is extremely easy my friend got stuck on him and saved wen he was gonna fight him and he had to start over cuz he couldnt beet him cuz hes dumb.. well im gonna go now cuz im hungry...

This game is off the hook it is the best game Squaresoft has achieved so far even though everything is animated everything is so real. Like instead of little round colored circles like in FF7 they have really descriptive hands, feet, noses, etc... this game is crazy. If someone in a Movie Sequence gets stabbed they get stabbed not like blood or anything, but you see the sword come out of the back of their cloak and then you see the hole in the cloak. I guarantee you this game won't let you go.

Final Fantasy Tactics is a game I have been playing for about a week now and I really like it! It has awesome effects with the magic (Time Magic and all the others.) So far I ahev got to the 5th level with Ramza. I am sure there are others out there that are way ahead of me. I can always use help.

Final Fantasy Tactics is such a good game that I have played, replayed, and re-replayed it again. This game is worth the 20 bucks you give for it and even though it is cheap it will give you tons and tons of fun time. For the time that this game was made Squaresoft had really outdone themselves and that is saying something. In this game the jobs system is way more advanced than in the other final fantasy games. The lead character Ramza is a strong warrior but poses as a great monk when mastered all of his monk abilities and although it may take a while it worth every second of it spent on getting him to become a master monk. My Ramza is at level 51 and doing aroud 200-300 damage each ATTACK!!! When doing this much damage he can kill just about anyone in one hit. Summoners are a great help in this game too. The help of one summoners is a giant welcome mat waiting to be set out on the front door. The battle system for this game is the best thing because it makes it where even the most expirienced gamers have trouble but the least experienced can understand it. Most people think that it is like chess and in ways it is but the only thing about that is they hadnt really sat down and tried to play it. The only tricky part is the part when your guys die and then if you dont revitalize them in three turns then they turn into crystals and all that hard work you put into them is (poof) gone. So my suggestion to you is to train them all to the same level and have two of almost every job. Squires, Chemists, Knights White and Black mages, Monks, Time mages, Lancers, Summoners, and many more jobs make this game the talk of the Square board. So I rate this book a 10.
