This game just blew me away! As you beat the game level by level you earn money and new jets are given to you. If you kill enemy jets marked "danger" during a level you get medals. You also get expearimental jets like the x-29 that will help you on the next level. And another thing is cheat books say not to kill "Z.O.E" on the last level but to beat the entire game you must kill him. Good luck! And have fun!!!

This game was released in '96 and in 2003 I still bought it NEW. It is hard to find used for a reason-its a keeper. No, the graphics do not "suck"-It has graphics that blew away any game 7 years ago and they still hold up. The planes all feel different from each other and some are hard to fly. They stall easier too. The game feels more real than PS2's AC4 of which I am a huge fan. Getting this game after having AC4 I am amazed how much of 4 came from this game. It has some obsure planes and more inventive missions too. You can go from playing 4 to playing this and not feel like this one is old or inferior, unlike how I also just picked up Need For Speed 2 and don't see myself ever playing it again-it is old and inferior. To sum up, excpept for being a PSONE game, it is just as good as AC4 and just as fun. What games from '96 are you playing alongside of new ones? Not many if any, I bet. This is a definite must buy.

This game is ok,but it could be a little easier.And the canyon level could be shorter .I would stick to renting it.The graphics suck.And the frame rate stinks.I used to realy like it.Then I bought ace combat 3 and 4,and now I don't like it much.The missels look like water blasts from mario and aren't very accurate.And also,you can hardly take any hits before you blow up.I got hit by an AA Gun 4 times once and I had 15 armor left.The enemie take more hits than you to die.All planes in real life take one hit ,even supply planes.The only thing I love about this game is the music.Belive me,save this for a rent.

I think this game has great graphics, not only brilliant game play. The planes and stages are great. I loved the intro movie. The game is quite hard to play, controlling the planes is difficult, trying to learn how to fly these jets.
