this game is a game that is for very creative people,you can play when you get in the c&c MOOD a mind set that will keep you there for hours.i never play solo missions this is the playstations version of 1 on 1 play.you can piss off your friends with this game above any other.so many ways to tweek your oppenents melons.you can link up and battle it out & show how well your brillant mind can work.practice strateges on the idoitic AIs and learn so much it is the beginning of a new generation in c&c games on the cpu look at C&C generals just wait to see where it goes in the coming years retalition started it all

Red Alert Retaliation is one game that I spend hours and hours of gameplay on when I'm around the console. Totally well designed and well plotted to keep interest throughout the whole game.
I loved the first one, but this one has much more fire power and construction as well as many upgrades from spys to Telsa tanks. Hope they keep bringing more of these great planning strategy games.
The only downfall for me is that I'm not into the solo missions as they are to hard to accomplish. Sorry...But Skirmish mode is the absolute way to go. Pick your own battlefield of war from up to battling against 3AI opponents...this is great!
There's really never the same path to take, and that's why I love this one in particular!!!!!!!!
