Don't Go to Buy Rite Video games.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please read the summary to find out (its long but you will like it) | | A gamer from who cares where im from, im american says (6/Jun/2004): | Wow Wow Wow, calm down MR jon from New Jersey, dont start going crazy about the shortcomings of Dragonball GT. You shouldn't yell at the fans like that, most of them wanted more GT like you and me, but we didn't stop it. The japanese fans complained about it, the show ended before the rest of the world new what it was. You can yell at the japanese critics if you want, but they arent gonna pay attention. besides why are u even on this site, you didn't review the game (which if you forget was Dragonball GT Final Bout), you just trashed the rest of the American Dragonball GT fans for something they didn't do. Dont act like your a one man country, we all like the show. Oh and just to answer your "Akira Toriyama did make Gt!" remark, no he didn't. He said it himself, he would help to animate the show but Project Dragonball was over. he left the storyline up to coworkers, thats why he had Gt goku in his Dr Slump, cause he designed him. Now i want to get down to the real deal here, and thats reviewing the game. I just got this game, it is awesome. Oh yeah dont go to Buy Rite Video Games to buy it, here's why. First i ordered the game. It didn't come for 3 weeks. My friend got his copy in five days from the Dragonball Z Specialty Store (asinamall.com). The site sent me a used japanese copy when i ordered a new copy. We sent it back. We called the place 3 or 4 times too. They lied to me as well about reshipping it. I originally ordered the game on April 15 (2004). I got the game May 1 (2004). I shipped the game out May 3 (2004). I got the game back yesterday (June 5 2004) and it was another used copy. This service people lied to me and didn't help me at all, not real good service. They sent me the same copy as last time, but tricked me by putting it in a diffferent package. I luckily but the game from Dragonball Z Specialty Store a week ago and got a brand new sealed copy of the game (i highly recommend DBZ Specialty store). Im sorry that i havent reviewed the game yet and i thank you if you are still reading, but i had to get that off my chest. The rest of the review is about you now. So im gonna try to sum this game up as quickly but effectively as possible so we can all get back to our daily lives. This game is great. Does it deserve a 10 out of 10, no, but what game does. I will mention the flaws to this game but i want you to pay attention to the good things and ignore every flaw that i write doens't affect the game (you can make your own decisions obviously). First the flaws. Like EVERY game this has some flaws. Now remember this was one of the very first 3-D fighting games, and the creators did a great job for their time. People say the game is slow, its not. This "flaw" is actually a unique part of the game. Like in Ultimate Battle 22 the characters are slow so you have to amke them dash (R1/L1). The attacks come out slow only because to make the game faithful to the show, the creators made it so the characters are charging their attack. Common, Goku's Chou Kamehameha wouldn't have that amzing strebgth and effect it he didn't charge it. After ive mentioned that, most of you should understand why the game is "slow". I know it doesn't look like the characters are charging the attack, but the game is old, give the creators a break. An every day person like you or me connot design an 8 bit NES game. I have respect for every game out there, because its creators took the time and effort to try and entertain the rest of the world, because sometimes we need entertainment, plus games are interactive. Now the sound for this game is amazing, i love, you may not but i do. Hey i have the japanese version of the game, thats right i spent 70 bucks on the game and equipment, instead of a hundred on a used game. The japanese version is better, the voices are better. The voices in the american game is done by some poor voice actors who nobody even knows about. The japanese ones are original, they are even in the american version of Ultimate Battle 22. Th graphics, like i said, are amazing when you think about when the game was made. The gameplay, which i find unique and a good challenge, is good. The amount of effort put into the game is phenomenal when you think about it. overall the game does have some flaws, but like i said what game doesn't. The creators made a wonderful piece of work when they created the game. GIVE THEM CREDIT!! Yeah there might be like a billion different Gokus but these guys put alot of work into a game based a fading series (at the time DBZ was a classic and people were done with it). I recommend the japanese version, and like i said go to the Dragonball Z Specialty Store (asianmall.com) and you can find the game. BUT PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM BUY RITE VIDEO GAMES. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!! If you need a modchip/converter then cheack out the DBZ Specialty store, but i recommend MODCHIPSTORE.come since they have a better selection for all systems at a great price. i know i sound like a walking billboard but please trust me, i didn't lie to you about the game. Hey i just want to thank you for reading my review, i know i left a few things out and didn't get in depth about the game, but the review is already too long. There are plenty of sites where you can get good information on the game. There is one tat gives you pictures of each move and the the buttons to do them (just type in Dragonball GT under the search engine, the site is the third or fourth option if you search under msn.com). Oh yeah sometimes the site doesn't work i dont know why. I want to thank you again, hope you found the review helpful, jon work on your temper, and i want to say one more thing. always trust a regular person review, because the big sites are rating every game by current up to date standards, which can really affect the way a game is rated. | I recommend this game for any DB/Z/GT.. fan even just for a collector's item. | | Piccolo from Namek, Not on Earth, Out in space says (12/Jul/2002): | I truly liked this game. But the flaws can bring it down. First the ups. I liked the build up mode, I brought my favorite character into this mode (Piccolo) and brought him up to a higher level and fought all the others. I have alot more fun when I have friends over and we're battling out to see who is better. Having a battle with a friend can make it more interesting aswell, the computer is too easy. I'll fire a Ki Blast and my friend will dodge and throw a blast or a punch and then we'll get into a good battle for a few seconds. Being able to battle with the blasts (Like both of you throwing a blast at the same time and they blast into eachother and they will go back and forth) Is fun also. But they blow up after a few causing both opponents to get injured. The self-destruct is a good/cheap way to get a draw. (Example: I was Piccolo, of course, and my friend was Vegeta. I was whooping his ass all over the mountains and he desides when I'm far enough away he decides to power updrastically and blow up causing a draw match. This is where the bad stuff comes out. One reason he got to blow up during that match was because the game is so fuc#ing slow. I tried to fly/run over to him and hit him with a blast (which would have killed him) to stop his self-destruct move, but it takes 10 minutes just to walk 5 feet. And the punches are thrown about 1-3 seconds after pressing the buttons (seriously.) But rapid fire fights and dodging is something I love. Like trying to land every hit on Frieza with hard difficulty on is pretty tough. (Cell and Buu are harder by the way) But blasting away is an easy way to win, if you know the controls. Which are the hardest to learn. But you'll have the game beat before you learn them totally. The characters kinda bother me. Sure Piccolo is all I ever use but having Tien, Krillin, Chaotzu, Yamucha, Nappa, and Radditz would be nice. But using the codes in my book is very cheap. I liked earning the character myself, puts more into the game. Having a Cell Junior would be nice, and not so many damn Goku's! I think a great improvement that should be made in Dragonball Z: Legendary Super Warriors (Yes, a PS2 game. Note: Not a fighting game, and adventure game!) Is being able to turn into a Super Saiyan after you reach a certain level. Not having to select a different character just to be a super saiyan. If they had to do this, than there should be a normal Goku, and a Super Saiyan Goku. But if needed, SS3. And another thing that I hate is that ChiChi can beat a Super Saiyan Vegeta just as easily as Frieza can. In the cartoon, being a Super Saiyan raised up the power, not made it as strong as a human. I think that having a Super Saiyan character should give you an advantage. But over all, this game is great. I admit, it can get pretty boring if you just fight the computer all the time, but having a friend battle you who trains his character up just as much as you (I have the game though, so I have more time to build up Piccolo) Then you could have great...slow...but great battles! A must buy for any DB/Z/GT Fan even if you hate it.

| Dragonball GT Final Bout... Mmm... | | Michael from South Seaville, Nj, U.S. of A. says (16/Aug/2003): | Dragonball GT Final Bout, Had to be one of the most sought after games for all DB fans. I know, for one, I paid 186 dollars to buy back my game I sold over five years ago. Now, Replaying it. I can see that it had really good graphics. Not to mention, All the Goku's you could ever want. Lol. Back to the graphics, Even though it's old school polygon... It was great for it's time. Besides the graphics... the battle system like no other. While a little on the slow time, from turning around to face an foe or recovering from an attack. Why I say it is like no other is because, The free roam of it. You could fly at will or fight off an enemy blast! Not worth your time? Just deflect that blast of theirs to show them they are nothing! The game is really ment for Two players or more. All the fun has to be in The Tournament mode is rather fun. Or just going head to head against friends. Playing through the massive amounts of characters in the VS com mode.. Is rather annoying... and not to metion boring. While on the down side... There are only a select few of characters... Excluding Gotenks, Gogeta, Goten, No female fighters besides Pan, Which I need to add now.. Pan's voice is annoying and horrid... Moving on... It also Excluded, Other forms of the other characters. Goku had most of his Forms on the game, Including his DBZ SSJ form. As well as Super Level 4 Goku. Why not Super Level 4 Vegeta? Hmm..? But, No complants from me. I always use SSJ Goku in his DBZ Attire. Oh! And I forgot to mention, Another thing about this game which makes it Unique is that each character has their own stregth and Stamina! Say if you took on Pan with Super Level 4 Goku, You may notice that he can take away more Life energy than say Chibi Goku with a Kamehameha. And They all have their own Defensive powers as well. Pan being not as Resistant to blasts as to Super Vegeta being resistant to blasts. Because of their power level and Super / Super Saiyan form. Which is really, really unique. Not being as fair as it should be. But that's how a fighting game should be. And I honor it for that. Though it's very hard to come by for the NTSC version of the game. I HIGHLY reccomend this game for a couple of reasons. One, A Dragonball fan must have. Two, For the games Uniqueness and Easy to Remember codes. Lol. Three, It's an awesome multiplayer fighting game, You can have hours of fun beating around friends, Showing them who as the strongest power of all! Or rather, The Fastest finger. Lol.

| Good game, but it could have been a little better | | Vegeta's final flash from Bruges, Belgium says (8/Nov/2002): | When you first play this game, you will (like alot of people do) find it horrible, well, I'll tell you why : First, the controls are SLOW, the characters look corny,especially Goku(s). I mean to say that when you look at his pants you can see a funny line that's not very attractive, further more ALL the characters have hands like Boo (2 fingers)and that looks pretty stupid. That said, now the good parts of the game. You have some characters from DB-GT, that's good, and when two fighters have to fight , right before they begin, they talk to eachother, that's very nice to listen to since it's in Japanese. The sound is nice, you can recognise some of the songs from UB22. I, this game, you have again the capability of building up a fighter, but this time it's more fun than in UB22, because here, you battle points, and every time you won or lost a fight , you gain BP's and the energy bars are REALLY long here, you have up to 7 energy bars! The attacks are cool, the good old kamehame-ha rays, that's the stuff;and they all say it in their own special way.The battle area's look very good, and you even have the capability to fly to or away from the screen to dodge an attack. What I find really great in this game is, the power of you punches and kicks depend on the fighter you choose, for example : You choose Vegetto or Goku SS4, and you punch or kick, you apponent will loose alot more energy than if you receive a punch from any other of the fighters in the game. The only thing that's annoying except the slow controlling, is the fact that some of the characters look very corny (all the Saiyans look corny) , all the rest of the characters in the game look very good ( Piccolo, Frieza, Boo, Cell,....). Now, final conclusion. The game needs to be played a while, and you have to have a little bit of patience, and if you don't look at the corny Saiyans, and slow controls, the game will play very nicely, I mean that, so DBZ fans should get this one for sure.
| I got what I expected. | | Ty Ryan says (16/Jun/2002): | Being younger when I first rented this game, I loved it. I had friends over and we would try to beat the pulp out of each other. Now playing this game several years older and knowing much more about video games, it was different. I knew it wouldnt be so great because it was one of the earlier games for the playstation. The first thing I noticed was the awesome anime intro. After that I saw alright menus but limited play features. By limited I mean LIMITED. Yeah after playing basically the first play mode dubbed "training" I was dissapointed by the clunky graphics and lame controls. We are talking hit the enemy 3 seconds after I push the button. Ok now that I'm over training mode I enter the normal versus mode. hat can I say? im deciding on what character to choose. Hmmm theres about 3 forms of goku already that play the same. I'll be Little Goku. Now that im actually in the game lets see. Just like training except the enemys fight back. Everytime you defeat an enemy it unlocks a character. The problem is that almost every character is a variation of a different character! Now being a Dragonball Z/GT fan I didn't mind but for fighter fans I think you will mind. Ok now that Ive beaten the game in 20 minutes I think ill play the other two modes! Tournament mode is basically the real fun...if you have friends. Its 4 on 4 or something like that in a tourny. It really brings the Dragonball magic out. I just discovered it plays just like all of the other modes! Ok now the controller is out the window and I have to buy a new one. Granted I knew the game was not going to be so good it is worse than I expected. Im not going to get into the last mode. After all it plays just like all of the other ones. This game is worth a rental Dragonball fans. Even if you are a fan , LORD HELP YOU DONT BUY IT!!!!

I give the gameplay 2 out of 10 - The sounds and voices howerever are far much better, its accurate, suits to the different characters and stuff. 7 out of 10 it is - The graphics suck pritty bad too, i mean it almost looks that every character is made out circles and squares. It could have been way more realistic. The sky and ground always looks like crap, not even detailled, just one color (sometimes from bright to dark but still one color)And the background is 2D, you see the same hill over and over if you pass to the next screen 3/10
Its true that there are too much goku 's (and Trunkses). For example, why didnt the normal goku got replaced with SS Goku (after you got it) Or better, if you used goku in build up and your niveau is high enough you would turn to SS or SS2 or further. I dont know why they made it so hard to get some bonus fighter, like playing arcade on hard 20 in a row without continues, who can keep it up after beating the game just once? And i dont have to see crappy fighter like Krillin or Tien, they are crap, and only had (big) roles way early in the dragonball (NOT dragonball Z but normal dragonball) series I seriously think that the game wasnt finished yet, or there werent enough experienced programmers. The build up was the only thing i cared for once (damn it was addictive), but i stopped now, i couldnt make my Freeza get higher then level 101. I regretted my time i put in the game later.

DB Gt is like the wrost in the DB trillogy because of all the plot holes!!! Piccolo couldn't even take on SS Gohan. Piccolo in the andriod saga could take on 17 eaisly but ss Gohan who is weaker than 17 and hadn't trtained for like 15 yearrs to be stronger than Piccolo who did train and was stronger than 17 who is stronger than a SS. But when baby gets control of SS Gohan he beats piccolo likes he is nothing!!!! Maybe Baby gave him a power-up when he goese inside his body????? Anyway, there is only Ten charrecters, u need to unlock them!!!!! This game would've gotten Ten stars but they don't have one of my fav. charecter's: Uub!!!!! Why don't U put uub in this game??? uub is from GT mostly gT and took on Bas Goku just fine.
Uub rocks. ss4 Goku is going to be in the game!!!!!! i love Ss4 because that's the strongest Ss form ever!!!!!!!!!!!! there's Goku and Kid Goku in the game!!!!?????????? That's like Ultimate battler 22. This game is better than UTB22 becuse this got beter graphics, better controls but Ultimate Battle 22 has more charrecters!!!!!!!!!!! But Final bout's better!!!!!!! pan even has her own techeig, the double Ki blast. It's her speiacalty. There's SS Gt Trunks, base Gt Trunks and Future Trunks. There is Super Baby , he's like mega cool!!!!!!!!! This why this game rocks!!! I need to play it!!!!!!! The only down fall is the plothole and it doesn't have ss4 Gogetta, Uub, super 17, Ss4 Vegeta and Omega shrenlong!!~!!!!!!1 Other than that it's good and I need to play it!!!!!
| My compliments to Ban Dai | | Chris from US says (22/Sep/2001): | First of all let me say that this game is anything but slow. Pay no attention to reviewers that wrote those things because it is not true. Actually, the only slow thing about this game is when your character is turning around.
Graphics-These Graphics are great! The characters hair looks very real andthe backgrounds are awsome. The moves like the Kamehameha and Final Flash look very real.
Sound-The sound is good. When the fists start flying the characters grunt. You can also hear the punches! Wow.
Characters- Now character selection could have been a little better. There are like 6 Gokus and 4 Trunks. No humans whatsoever. And there is no SS Gohan. Come on people.
Controll- The controll is alright. The only real bad thing about it is trying to counter your opponents attacks. Very Simple conrtroll of the character though.
Replay- This game is so much fun. It is very challenfing to unlock SS4 Goku (which I still havnt done). Build-up mode is fun if youd like to raise your attacks power.
Multiplayer- Excelent Multiplayer. You can challenge your friends to a tournament or you can put you and your friend build-up characters and destroy each other.
Fun Factor- Fun once you get the hang of it. Dont use the same characters and dont use just ki attacks. This game is much more fun if you switch your characters and use hand to hand combat techniques.
| KAME-HA-ME-HA! This game kicks major Ass. | | Super Gogeta from Denver ,Colorado,USA says (7/Oct/2001): | First of all this is a must buy for all DB/Z/GT fans. And second if you are really into action fighting games you should own this one if not you are a total BIZITCH. I've seen every thing there is to see about DB/Z/GT even the three T.V. specials and the show RULES just like the game, for everybody who was pissed when Vageta got man handled by Freeza in The Freeza saga in DBZ pick SSJ Vegeta and rip Lord Freeza a new one. Over all Dragon ball final bout is a really cool action packed game and the graphics are nice and clean for a game made in 1997 plus you have three game modes to choose from. Theres the main game the Tenkiachi-Boudaki and theres also a build up mode (a tip in build up mode:if you own a previous Dragonball game like ultimate battle 22 and your build mode character is at a high level go to the memory card screen on final bout and save under the level you are in the other game and your final bout build mode character shoul become stronger)any way this game ruls the sounds are about a 9 and the game play a 10 I learned how to use the controls pretty fast and i like them the graphics rock and it is full of action ,the meteo attacks are cool the power beams like the Kame ha me ha wave and others are cool and the voices are the exact as in the series over all this game deserves on a scale from one to ten it deserves an eleven.
| adding on to the first guys review | | bendoa3man from cherry hill nj says (9/Feb/2005): | the reason why they dont have ubb, super 17, and omega shinron is because the origonal version was realeased in 1997 and that was before ppl in americal knew about omega shinron and super 17! this is a great game but the backrounds were kinda cheesy and the voices were apsaluty terrible!piccolo sounded terrible and vageta sounds...just bad!! if they made the game in 2001 or something it would have been much better because there would be more advances in technology instead of terrible japanice voiceovers and backrounds. now im not saying this to be mean to people that are japanise im just saying that because from 1995 to 1997 etc. some of those people couldent make video games because technology was terrible back then. i really think they should have made it in 2001 thats why i only rated it a 7.. and since this has to be over 150 words long(stupid rule.) i have to say something else. sometimes the combos can be way to difficult to do. ss4 gokus combos are easy and awsome but i cant figure out anybody elses combos! plus when your fighting a computer and u do a special laser they always block it or fire back! they never actually get hit once! oh and also if that kid who wanted to know when budokai 2 is coming out still looks on here i have an answer. budokai 3 is already out! i know u probably have it but im justt telling u...
| A Small problem | | Gotenks from England, Leicester says (3/Aug/2003): | i am from england. dragonball final bout is a fun and great game. the only dissapointment is the very few characters. there isn't ss4 vegeta, gotenks, uub, ss gohan or any other majin buus
sound - the theme tunes are great. it has all of the sound effects. as i am english, the game has a tiny problem - they speak japanese! they are obviously imports but back to the reveiw...
graphic - the graphics are great. the background pictures are so realistic and you must admit, the graphics are good for a psx game made about 6-7 years ago.
gameplay - it is quite slow with the action movements but the meteor is awesome! ki attacks look so alike to the tv program and it is just somthing you can't stop on.
overall - sorry this is getting quite long but...i think that overall the game is satisfying and great. people who are not dragonball fans and do not like fighting game have a 10% chance of likeing this game. people who like fighting games have a 37% chance of likeing this game. people who do not like dragonball have a 30% chance of likeing this game. and people who like dragonball are the no.1 people who have a 100% chance of loving this game. (my regards that who does not like dragonball my not enjoy the game)Thanks for reading my review
| BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED!! | | A gamer from San Diego, California, USA says (22/Mar/2002): | Dragonball GT Final Bout is by far the best game I have ever played. It has many characters and many secret characters. It even has Ubuu as a secret character!! The first time I played this game I thought,"Wow, I have to get this game!!" It is a tough game that is still an easy game to play. It is cool how many different combos and moves that you can do in it, and you can always find somehting out about it that you never knew. I have never played DBZ Legends or Ultimate Battle 22, so I can't compare it to them, but I m sure Dragonball GT Final Bout is much better. It has many different modes, such as training, versus, build-up, tournament, and one player modes, all being different yet fun. I have hardly played this game but I am sure that I will like it for many years. The best part about the game is that you can keep on playing it, but it won't make you bored. I recommend buying the Japanese version, instead of paying much more for the American version, if you decide to get it. The Japanese version has better music anyways, even though you get so involved in the game you don't notice it, and the music doesn't become a nuisance, as in some games. This game is definately the best game I have ever played!!
| if only dbz final bout still existed in stores | | omar arias from hialeah fl. 33012 says (16/May/2004): | dbz final bout dosnt exist in america any more.it was brought in very early.as playstation one came out i didnt know it existed. until playstation 1 was about to leave.months before ps2.i heard of it because the guy who worked in this store.had it and he traided it.he said because it was slow.i couldnt believe it i got into dragon ballz.year 1999 i was in vacation.in cocoa beach.
they had cartoon network.they were giving the freeza saga.i didnt know if he was a boy or a girl or why were they fighting each other.but all i new was when i found out he was a guy.when krilin said get him.i just wanted goku to kick his ass.for impersonating a man.and i wanted to know all about dragon ballz.the sad thing about it i never had the chance to buy dbz final bout.i came close once a game stop had it.but the stupid game wasnt american it was jappaneze.it didnt play in my playstation 2 it had the
instruction booklet in jappaneze language.i thought it was a typo or something.now dragon ball gt came out.it spoiled the game for me.id do anything to get dbz final bout.or if the creaters of dragon ball z.could please make another one that has characters. from futier episodse
| Dragon Ball Z is The BOMB | | Xiomara Piche from California , USA says (17/Dec/2001): | I like dragon ball z because you can play and you can beat your other friends. Sometimes the game is boring because you don't do anything but beat the DBZ fighters but when I got the new dragon ball z characters I started to get excited again. I played and played until night and until my mom turn it off for me but I really enjoyed playing the game.My favoeite character is Gohan becasue he is very strong but pam is really cute. My friends and family enjoy playing the game. My little brother always wants to play versus me but I always beat him because I am 100x better than he is. I play after I get from school and I stop when I have to go to bed. When I had a party last week my friends all wanted to play the game and sometimes even play against me but as soon as we started I beat them. I did a kamehame wave and they just die. I found out some tips of how to make my played more stronger than ever. I really enjoyed this game and I hope all of you would also do because if you don't you don't know what yuo are missing it is one of the best games ever. I would not trade it for anything in the world except for 500 dollars of course I could buy more games that way.
| Pretty Good Few Flaws | | Prince Bejita from Planet Vegeta, Space says (26/May/2002): | well ok DBFB is great game i dont see why now i mean they do animations,ur can link meteos,and another is...ITS IN 3-D.But the bad thing is i think the 3-D'ness makes this game slower but the better thing is there a build up mode which is great to me cause in DBZ ULTIMATE BATTLE 22 i have some chars at 125 lvl making me start with lvls like 41,42,43.but they build up should be u save in place then u click save and instead of selecting were u want to save i saved over a lvl 104 Little Gokou on accident.now i have to start all the way over.the regular Gokou's spirit bomb should be animated yeah its the regular spirit bomb i can see a kamehameha knocking it out but if u do a lil regular ki blast the spirit bomb is destroyed.And that just sucks i mean u can do a power battle with the computer usin vegeta's big bang attack but u cant let the spirit bomb do a power struggle thats just strang and all they had to do was make a copy of cell doing the self destruct and take cell and give vegeta and buu the animation for the self destruct.and goku should have Kaio-Ken.but overall this game has great game play.o yeah and vegetto fire move should be animated too
| adding on to the first guys review | | bendoa3man from cherry hill nj says (9/Feb/2005): | the reason why they dont have ubb, super 17, and omega shinron is because the origonal version was realeased in 1997 and that was before ppl in americal knew about omega shinron and super 17! this is a great game but the backrounds were kinda cheesy and the voices were apsaluty terrible!piccolo sounded terrible and vageta sounds...just bad!! if they made the game in 2001 or something it would have been much better because there would be more advances in technology instead of terrible japanice voiceovers and backrounds. now im not saying this to be mean to people that are japanise im just saying that because from 1995 to 1997 etc. some of those people couldent make video games because technology was terrible back then. i really think they should have made it in 2001 thats why i only rated it a 7.. and since this has to be over 150 words long(stupid rule.) i have to say something else. sometimes the combos can be way to difficult to do. ss4 gokus combos are easy and awsome but i cant figure out anybody elses combos! plus when your fighting a computer and u do a special laser they always block it or fire back! they never actually get hit once!
| SSJ Gohan | | SSJ MICHAEL from Cumbria,England says (29/May/2003): | Ive read most of these reviews and some pepol are talkin out of the wrong hole.HELLO,ANYONE IN THERE?incase you dont remember When Old Kai raised Gohans power level,and gohan turned super saiyan 2,his hair stayed black,so when you say he needs a super saiyan state on the game,he has on,just nto a normal one.ok fo rmy review,The graphics and good,pepol say there BLOCKY but cud you do any better?Yeh its a bit silly having 6 gokus 3 trunks's and not evn the greatest super saiyan,Brolly.the gameplay is good,if you think its slow then its one of two things,one the american version is just pathetic,or two your just walkin,thats what flying and dashing is for(R1 and direction) ,but when you unlock super vegetto and you battle in arcade mode til the end,you do get to face Oozaru bebi,but no Vegeta bebi?and i think they cud have made it better by being able to transform the player insted of having to choose a different one,and the ammount of characters lack a bit,but if u think,tien chiatziou yamcha and other people like that dont appear atall or very much in dragonball gt which the game is mainly revolved around,
| just a question | | A gamer says (5/Sep/2004): | in the re release of Dragonball GT final bout by Atari, can you unlock Super Baby with the gameshark cheat or is that only available in the original American version from Bandai. I'd really appreciate it if you wrote back with an answer on this site under this title. Alright i'm just going to write a little more because the site wont post this until there are 150 words or more. When i say the re release you all know what i mean right? Its the one with the picture of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Baby, plus Super SAiyan Gt trunks. It also has the little Atari signature on the bottom right side. I was one of the people who got the japanese version with a converter, luckily the whole package was just 50 bucks (i really searched hard). I wrote the review that shames Buy-Rite Video games, it's only one or two reviews before this. I want to thank everyone that liked it, hey i thank anyone who even read it. See i never thought that they would re release the game, but my dad said i couldnt get it unless it was american. well i finally got the japanese version, and then it turns out the other one comes out,
| GT IS ALRIGHT | | Big_DBZ_Fan64 from UK says (19/Dec/2001): | When I got Dragonball Z GT I enjoyed it kinda. You get the hang of it easily and learn most of their special attacks. But one was that their speed wasn't fast like in the cartoon series of DBZ and you don't feel like you're in control of your character sometimes. It's still a good game though. The thing that annoyed me the most was the turning and the selection of fighters (I expected more fighters like Nappa or the androids). There's like 2 small Goku's (little goku, super little goku), 4 big Goku's (normal, super, super ssj, ssj4), 3 Trunks's (normal, super, super ssj). Some fighters are the same. But anyway it's still a cool game and the multiplayer is still fun and the graphics are cool. The sounds are great (with the voices of the fighters). The game would have been better with more fighters. I trained my ssj4 Goku up to level 55 and used him he was very powerful against lots of his opponents. It's still a good game though and most of you would like playing it now and then. Get it if you want to. I like Legends better. But Final Bout is still great for Dragonball Z fans and a bit fun.
