I've never played such an interesting fantastic and incredible game before! It's exactly like having a pet (or something)when you get your first Digimon. I found it hard to make an ultimate form but I did it at last!My only problem is that I don't know how to make Mojyamons happy - all of them and I would like to know what time does Mamemon appear in Gear Savanna.Does anybody knows how can I pass these things? well the only bad thing in that game is that when your Digimon grows up it faints and sometimes your tamer level goes down.I wonder If anyone has managed to create King of Sukamon because I hasn't I'd like to contact via e-mail with other Digimaniacs but I'm afraid I'm the only one...
I'm looking forward buing the second version too!

All I have to say is that this game beats all. The 3D graphics kicked butt and the gameplay was incredible. One of the most exeptional things about Dw1 was the amount of Digimon you could digivolve into. I mean, I got this game 3 years ago and the only ultimates I have obtained are Andromon, Megaseadramon and the all so lovely Pheonixmon. If it helps, I would say to raise the hp and mp to 3000 and all other stats to 250. thereon, do whatever you can to raise your digimons discipline WITHOUT scolding it. The best way is to scold it when it doesnt take an item you give it, Portable Potty for instance. Again I would like to state that I give this game 10 and a half rating. Digimon world 1 is the best game ever! I currently have a prosperity rate of 55 and now I am tackling Mt. Infinty with a Digimamemon (from the Mysty egg I got from Whamons cave). I had a Nunemon. It's a shame that Nunemon can't Digivolve into Monzimon now that I've beeten Warmonzimon :(. Hhmmmmm... the best Digimon I have ever had was Metalmamemon that I got from a Monocromon. To get Monocromon, get the first egg when your digimon fades away, and train it to be gabumon then train it in in weight, brains, Mp and defence (only a bit) and speed (tiny bit) and hopefully Volia! One Monocromon! The game has had such a big change on my life. Dezwyler.
P.S.How do you get to see the guardian of dragon eye lake, Seadramon (I think).

the game is really cool but i cant seem to digivolve into anything but a numemon and its really starting to drive me insane! my little bro's better than me at the game anyone know of a cheat or code or Somthing that could help me!?! i keep going online and looking up cheats but i cant find anything for the american version of Digimon World its always japanese version and yea im only writing this because i need some help with the game and the reveiw needs 150 or more words other than that the game is pretty cool very good graphics for ps1 and sound was good and stuff 9/10 is what i give the game and i think alot of ppl are gonna say this did not help them at all lol yea ok im trying to get 150 words down and it wont go

hey everybody! i am new here, and in need of some help.i need help on how to get Gabumon to digivolve in to Garurumon and so on, and how to get Agumon to digivolve from Greymon to Metalgreymon. Also, i need help on how to find Giromon and i need help to go to the city when i beat Tryrannomon and he says bout the fast city or what ever, so please if anyone can help me with stuff like that, i would be so greatful, and also about when Shellmon comes to the city and says things on its notice board about the guardian of the lake, the UFO and other things i'll be very greatful, but other than that digimon world is kewl! and also where can i find digimon world 2? can anyone help me? i will reply to ur replys as best i can.

To everyone who complained: Go find an action game. This requires patience and knowledge. In other words, don't ever play Myst or Riven. The other one I tried (2) sucked. You get killed and you go off to die,especially since you don't save. That game's too much like Pokemon,but worse. This one is like having a pet. The only bit wrong is the fact that you can't lower virus,but there are cheats to let you get sukamon/numemon into a better form. Tyrannimon is good,but with the fact it never is full is really,really,really annoying. I must know how long a digimon lives,since all mine die in about twenty days. The graphics are okay,sound okay,it's generally okay. Hint: Train,discpline,train.

YESSS!!When I remembered that Machinedramon was a Mega Digimon,I thought it was nearly impossible to beat him.I've just got a Metalgreymon.I entered Mt.Infinity and tried to beat Devimon.I thought it was hard to beat him but it wasn't.He only attacked me twice with the MEGALO SPARK.It took me about 1 min to beat him.Then I had to fight Megadramon.It was easy too and it was great when Metalgreymon learned DG DIMENSION after the battle!Then I had to beat Metalgreymon.Hmmm.Funny!Metalgreymon vs Metalgreymon!I've learned INFINITY BURN then went to battle the boss and I have won after less than 3 min using Metalgreymon's GIGA SCISSOR CLAW for 2times+Megaton Punch and the other 2.

Among all the digimon world game i've played,this is the best ever. To tell you the truth,i spend enless hrs playing this game. It's so fun that i just can't stop playing. I love it when the digimon digivolves into new form but just hate it when my digimon fades away. However this never stop or slows me down from getting a higher level digimon. It even makes me more excited when i won a red ruby,it makes your digimon digivolves into PHOENIXMON, a mega digimon!i get it when i won the version zero cup.It's sooo.. beautiful. Things just can't get better than this. I bet you can't wait to enter the contest n won a red ruby to change your digimon into a MEGA form,Try It!

This is the best digimon Game I have played! (Ive only played digimon rumble arena and this. hehe anyway This is sooo cool and greymon looks great!!!
THE GOOD:-Graphics-types of digimon you can get-the digital world is big -lots of digimon to fight-The storyline-The battles
THE BAD:
-the main character... I reccon he is a nerd looking fella-digimon are pretty hard to get to ultimate (ive never gotten one!)
SUMMARIE:
This is worth buying, I want to check out number 2 and 3 badly, I cant find it here in australia!
This is just soooo great if u liked to t.v series and still very good if u dont like it, If u dont like digimon, still give this one a try.

I must admit this game is'nt as good as the other two but it is still one of the best games i have ever played!. (if anyone knows how to get the coral charm Megaseadramon please let me know) This game gives you the chance to raise which digimon you like best(oh all the people who think numemon is c**p are wrong because if you hav'nt done the toy mansion in toy town can get monzaemon straight away) The only downfall to this game is you can only get one mega which is H-kabuterimon. Apart from that this games graphics are quite supurb for the PS1 and lets all hope they bring out a Digimon World 4 hopefully for PS2!!!!!!.

This game is hard, but very spectacular! I only got 1 ultimate digimon who is MegaSeadramon. After that, I have to train harder
to get an Ultimate digimon. So far, my prosperity rate is 29. I got a Dimensional Key Chain from Nanimon. I found him at the Ancient Speedy Region. I really want to have an Angewomon(That's if the game had it.) so anyone who can tell me how to get her, please response. I have a lot of Sirloin and sm recovery. It's very hard for me to get an ultimate digimon, but it is very easy to make my digimon's discipline and happiness full. Calling everybody, please teach me on how to get an Angewomon!

i first got digimon world 1 ages ago but its still one of my favorite games on the ps1 i havent played any of the others because ive got a playstation 2 and by games for that but digimon world stands out in ways that pokemon cant beat. Like you get to know your digimon after you play for a while and you start to like it more and it still appeals to me after having it for 2 years. I havent got bored ive unlocked metaletamon with the exploder cheat disc and have completed the game twice. My favorite character is myotismon and its a shame you cant have one but this is an exellent game that deserves credit.

I like this game because, it offers 3d envirenments and, you can train and take care of your Digimon. I was so dissapointed in the 2nd and 3rd digimon worlds because you have to have 3 digimon and you can no longer raise them like you did in the first one. In the 3rd, it doesn't even have 3d graphics, they are 2d. Thats why I think, out of the three Digimon world games that this one is the best. I was only dissapointed in the fact that it was really hard to get an ultimate level Digimon. It lost a star for that because you had to be in the right place at the right time, or your Digimon would die.

this is a pretty good game so far i have 54 fpr my prospertity rate i hate the fact u cant choose ur digimon partners when the digivolve. i have some other games of digimon moster games i have digiomon world 1,2,3, rumble arena, digimon digital card battle, and another digimon game thats for my gameboy advance. digimon world 3 is alott easier i mastered that game within a week with no help. i hope they will come up with a better game soon but i dont think they will if they do it will be for a whole new game system besides for playstation 1 cause its getting harder and harder 2 find good games.

This game is really really great. It's 1 of the best games I had played so far on PS1. The graphics is really cool and groovy. The only spoilers is that the lifespan of the digimons are too short. I had only had 6 ultimate digimons-an andromon, a megadramon, a vademon, a metalmamemon, a digitamamon and a monzaemon. My city's prosperity rating is 97 and I'm only short of one metalmamemon. I met it once but my little dude was only at rookie stage and i had no choice. What a watse of time......anyway, I personally think that this game is still pretty great except for that it is too easy too game.

Well ive been playing the game for 3 days and my city rating is 71 ive gotten a few ultimate digimon which they are andromon twice and metal mamemon. I think the easiest ultimate to get is andromon, at the begginng of the game i got agumon then he digivolved into meramon then on the 12 day he digivolved into ANDROMON!!!!! i wasn't even planing to get him. Hes a easy digimon to get and you could easily get through the whole game with him.... but i dont sugest using him in mount infinity. I havent beaten the game yet even thought my rating is 71. Im trying to get metal greymon first.

This game is fun but hard The graphics are real good and the storyline is good. But I have only 2 ultimates[one from a code]and i cant get any really good champions. I've been playing for a long time and my prosperity rate is only 32. Does that stop me? NO. i am hooked. Right now i have drimogemon HP:2250 MP:2550 i am on my tenth year and i cant defeat the Garurumon in Freezeland for the 2nd time. Also, I cant figure out how to find Seadramon.My favorite digimon so far that i have had so far is Kockatorimon. Other than the hard way to get an Ultimate, this game is really cool!!

This game really rocks! At the moment I've got a Sukamon, and it's really disgusting when he eats his own poop, but at least it clears places up. It's kinda sad when your digimon fades away, but your soon having so much fun with whatever hatched from the digitama that you forget. What really annoys me though is 1) By the time you get to a powerful digimon your too worn oput by the weaklings on the way to fight it and 2) You can't play as a girl. I disagree with the first review, this game is great for girls so long as you like digimon (like me!) I can't wait to get DW2!

Digimon world,is one of the hardest games i have ever played.There are many reason why I think so. One reason is the you have to take them to the bathroom, if they don't make it to the bathroom they will go wherever you are. This makes them mad and also make them digivole into some weird digimon. Another reason is that you have to feed them. If you don't, they get sick. When they get sick, you have no doctor or any medical to help them and then they die. I think that the makers of this game mad it to hard. If you make a game this hard, a least make it interesting!!!!

this is the best game i have ever played! the only thing bad is the slowness sometimes. this is so good that you can play for hours on end and not get bored. there are a few cheats but i like using my brain/walkthroughs. also to ask questions u want to find out u can go to www.gametalk.com and click on digimon world 1. there u can answer and ask questions, take and make quizzes, take and make polls and go to the chat room. if you finish this game you can just buy the the next one, which are great i'm sure. if u haven't played this game i highly reccomend you should!
