Hi ppl! I give this game a 10, because It's a very good one, adicting and entertaining!!The graphics are excellent! The sound, and everything! A very nice storyline and that.
The best digimons I had were PIXIMON and ANDROMON...
With Piximon I beat Machinedramon and Digitamamon and with a Birdramon I beat SKullgreymon! Piximon lived for 19 years!!
Now My city prosperity is 97! I'm trying to get a Metalgreymon now so I beat Machinedramon at the Back dimension, since I only fought at Mt Infinity :3
Oh and for people reading this, don't mind the care mistakes, because they reallt dont matter! In all guides they say Kabuterimon, Birdramon, etc, need 0 CARE MISTAKES!! And I have more than the half of the bar filled!! =P So yeah, dont pay atention to that.
Another tip..Humm If you are trying to get either Metalmamemon, Mamemon or Piximon, just keep chaging screen to screen and you'll find them there someday!
Other things.. In Mt infinity you can evade most of the digimons, so If you have problems just ask me okay? :)

When your digimon is a champion, it sometimes dies when you work hard to get an ultimate, here's another way. When your digimon is 15 days old, praise or scold him. Immediately he will digivolve to Vademon! I know he only learns one technique metal splinter, but who cares, your tamer level increases! This might be a good chance to get into Grey Lord's Mansion. I think the game is incredible! I have nearly completed the game and I would have sooner if my ultimates stopped fading away (friggin annoying). I know what's in grey Lord's mansion, that Myotismon guy has created a Skullgreymon behind the door that can't be opened with that key. It took the most powerful digimon in the game to defeat it, Megadramon. Phoneixmon could have defeated it as well. Take your time to raise your digimon into a... sort of god, and you'll probably beat the game in no time. I'm doing one of my lectures again aren't I? My friend Jamie once asked me to help him get a Greymon. I managed to get one for him. I went downstairs for a drink, came back up 10 minutes later and found out that Jamie had inadvertently killed him! Nice one Jay!

hi my name is bobby and here are just some little tricks to help u on your way to becoming a digimon master.for you to get giromon(ultimate), get bakemon (kill patamon twice) and praise him just before death.Also to get centramon to the city you go to the amida forest in the tropical jungle an get 2 the end of the circle lane which is on the right. to get vadermon (ultimate)get angemon and get its brain to 600. to get whalemon to the city travel to freezeland and keep going south untill you find whalemon. he will take you to a secret beach cave and when you enter one door you will see 2 gabumon and a ogormon( the bandits)one of the gabumon will go away and bring back a megawaruseadrmon and then you will have to fight ogarmon, a gabumon and megawaruseadromon at the same time (i advise you to use a very strong digimon) if you defeat them they will run away(again) and whalemon will come to the city, where you can go two him at any time to go to the secret beach cave or factorial town which is where metal manimon and giromon are hiding.

Yup...I haven't got a bunch of fancy tips and tricks for you, BUT I can help you out with small little things, like these:
How to raise happiness AND discipline:
Offer your digimon something like a brain chip or bandage (when it is wounded, you souldn't waste these). If it refuses, you'll know when it growls and shakes it's head at you. After it does this, use the Scold command, and voila, both stats will jump up, and you can now give the digimon the item. :D
How to gain weight:
Isn't in a pain in the bum to get that weight up for that cool digivolve? Sure, big meat is GREAT for weight gain, but i'll tell you what's better! If you've beaten Meramon and he's opened his resturaunt, try eating there for a change when your digimon get his hunger groove on. He'll gain lots of weight (3 pounds, even!) and even some stats too! Also, eating there increases happiness, and decreases fatigue.
And randomly; to get into that house with the strange black force blocking the door, you need a virus type digimon like Devimon or Bakemon, as just a couple examples.

Hi guys. I've had digimon for a couple of years and I'm not all that great. Ihave around 98 people in my city, And I've only goten two ultimates. So If you guys tell me how to ger a strong ultimate without training or items or chips too much. And I will tell you how to get to beetle land learn ice attacks, and get a water bottle. Oh yeah. Some $#< remove me > at ! says if you fish at off-shore dragone eye lake you get coral charm. BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?! So that's the help I need. Thanks also. Factorial town is easy, but getting there is a diffrent story. Anyone who can E-Mail me to get a strong ultimate. I will tell you the whole section of any place in digi world except for gray lord's mansion because I can't get a strong Virus type yet. I think that digimon world 1 is the best.Because it has GREAT graphics,and i have played it for
two years now.I can help you if you can e-mail me.Digimon lifespan is short but who cares.
It is very fun game and thats why i gave it 10 points.I have almost all of the medals and
my prosperity rate is 100.Sound is pretty good and i have nothing bad to say about it.
My best digimons are:1-Megaseadramon-all 800 hp-6000,mp-8900.2-Megadramon-all 750,
mp,hp7000.I have all the digimons in chart exept for Phoenixmon and Unimon.
The first digimon with i defeated Machinedramon was a strong Monzaemon.And i think
that Monzaemon one of the best digimons in the game.Nobody knows where could we find
Vitamin C,it is found in Ancient Dino Region it cures tiredness.Fun Factor of the game is the highest.
Its value in shop is not very high but its one of the expensive ps games.It has no minuses exept it could
really have more places to visit.The best game ever done to the Ps.I can help you getting all the

Hi all!I'm Chin-Chan. I'm not a real Digimon fan, but I really like this game!! It's super! I was 10, when I played it first time. I played it couple months and then I forgot it.. Now after three years I found it again and started to play. I've played 21 'years' and my Tamer Level's 10, Legend.. My city propesity (Sorry about spelling, my english isn't very good! ^_^')is now 73. I have a little problem, I've tried sooo many times to get Numemon, (because I want to get Monzaemon) , but I've failed. When my tamer level was low, almost my all digimons were Numemons... But now it's hard to get one... How could I get Shellmon to join the city? I've seen him so many times on a somekind of 'pond' but I can't talk to him... Do this game has a real end? I've beaten Machinedramon sooooo many times in the 'Back Dimension'... My favorite digimons in this game are: Patamon, Greymon, MetalGreymon and Phoenixmon! They're all cool! ^__^And Patamon is so cute. Does anybody now how I get Vademon to the city and what are the 'circles' in Mt. Panorama Spore Area? :3

Man this is really good!!!! but if u accidently get one of urr digimon mad this stupud butterfly comes out of nowhere to make him happy which makes ur digigmon loose like 50 or 100 stats of each thing for exmp u have 4000 hp it wil decrease to about 3701 yea the sucks and man its like every frigen 20 minutes that he fades away from training i wans teaching him brain techs and he died for tiredness this game is O.K. not the best though anywayz dont get the the digimon mad and why is it alaways the same nunemon i get the point he likes poop anything new and the same digimon that helps u always say the same thing like u talk to em like 300 times they say the same thing like no really? well theres lots of glitches to like if u poop while ur sleeping the poop goes on top of punimons head and punimon gets like happier than ever well i ll give it a 7 !! and thats probabely all ah but the part when u get digimon abck to ur city it preety hard when u get so far then ur digimon needs to go poop then he died from like digi constapation lol well i g2g cya

I think this game beats any other playstation game.That is why I called it the Top dog.The graphics are great for a playstation game, you will never get bored of this game,and the music is really cool, especially the music for the battles you have to do. Anyway I have a way to get lots of money from a couple of digimushrooms. Oh and you need the amazing rod from ShogunGekomon before you can do this. OK go to Dragon Eye Lake and catch a DigiSnapper or a DigiTrout with a Digimushroom,then use it to catch a BlackTrout and then use the Black Trout to catch a DigiSeaBass then sell it for about 4000 bits. If you get a lot of digimushrooms and repeat the process you will soon save up a lot of money. And when do you get to see Etemon at Digimon Bridge because I can never ever catch nhim when I want a Golden Banana. And how do you use the Traing manual that Piximon sells to you. Does the digimon have to eat it? They are the only problems in the game. God, you have to put a lot of words in for a review, I don't even know if i've got 200 words yet.

hi u smell.digimon is a great game and i have some tips. How to get metalmanemon get a numemon and put brains to 700. it worked 4 me. the digimon i kept getting is tyrannamon. its so annoying. but i cheated a bit and now i've stopped. to get greymon u have to get offense defense speed and brains to 100 , discipline 90% or over wieght to 30. to get metalgreymon get greymon and get HP and MP to 4000 off to 500 the rest to 300 weight has to be 65 and discipline over 90%.I did it on my first try. how great am i!the only thing is im having real trouble getting sukamon and nanimon. i have all the medals.and i have almost completed the game. i only need to get sukamon and nanimon.also i need to get agumon to the city. when i got etemon i beat everyone except agumon.i am so cool.to get piximon get a tyrannomon and put its wieght up to 89 and put all its stats up to 9000 and 900. it isnt hard at all . it took me 10 minutes.to get whamon the best digimon in the game put betamons brain up to 600. boo boo boo. iam the best at this game. i like eggs.

Could someone help me with this game i've got 1 digimon and it's metal mamemon i need help with the city because i battled that gabumon at GEKO SWAMP he said that he will join the city but he's not at the city when i won so could someone help me please and what digimon can you get to the city i've only got Agumon,Palmon,Patamon,Meramon and Kunemon oooppss i forgot Biomon to and how do you get that much money to get piximons training book thats all i have but ive got some cheats if you want Monochromon to digivolve you have to fight more than train and it's hp 3000 mp 2890 brains 387 offence 243 defence 300 speed 300 ive got one more cheat if you want Gabumon when Jijimon asks do you have a digivice say no then when he says do you have any friends say no and you should start out with Gabumon they are good cheats i just gave you i got Monrochomon from gabumon and at gaer savanna he digivolved into metal mamemon which is my first ultamite i've ever got in the game whitch i've played for 1 year it wasn't that hard to let him digivolve.

I'm not a crazed freak, but I have to say that Digimon is the best PS1 Game in the world. I thought I'd give you a cheat I know which has been extremely helpful to me. This cheat is for gaining money really easily...
Buy as many 'Medium Recovery' as you can (99 or something would be best...) then enter the Freezeland. Vistit the home to all of the Moyajomon. Go to the one in the east who will want to trade you either a Happy Mushroom, Super Carot or Medium recovery. Trade him all of your Medium Recoveries for some Omni Disks. Then go to the Moyajomon in the South West and he'll trade you the Omni disks for Special Attack Disks or something like that. Go back to the city and sell these. You can sell these for 2000 bits (So if you bought 99 Medium Recoveries, you can gain 198,000 bits. A profit of 1500 for each disk. That is a lot of money!) This will take about 10 minutes, but its worth it. You can use the money to buy Manuals to train your digimon easier and that helps... Hope this cheat helps! Ok, I have just gotten back into digimon after my pheonixmon, my 2nd ultamite died *COUGH* faded away. I look around and see that in all those exelent FAQ on DW don't know how to get pheonixmon. It does come up on your chart for those who are wondering. All you need to do is have an airdramon, birdramon and other winged digimon and make sure it's over 360 hours old and make its happiness and dicipline (spelling, muahaha, if it's correct yay!) to max and pow you've got one. I didn't even notice it untill it started to digivolve. If it works mail me! If you think sukamon is a useless digimon think again. It digivolves to etamon. Of course you need to win 30 + battles so it'll be inpossible unless you have a super sukamon. They are quite good as you don't need to care if they poop in training because their virus level never go up! (unless you had a high tamer lever then your DOOMED) This rEVIEW is sponsered by giromon's jukebox, killing hard work and hearts everywhere. I tried it, didn't save for 5 hours and I was back with agumon XD

I have this game for two years now and if anyones need help you can contact me, I have lots of games so am busy play this play that etc. If you need some help with piximon just keep coming never give up remeber the date you meet him and come at morning afternoon or at night you'll find him. I also have a request the trainning manual doesn't work my Digimon won't take it. Getteing an ultimate its okay eighty percent of the time I get ultimate now am level 7 a super trainer to get ultimate is to raise any digimon powers defenced etc by 430 + and MP and HP over 4300. Most people here need help on Mamemon. To get ultimate just trade digichovy from dragon eye lake and med recovery you will get around 380,000 bits and buy cards from slot machine keep stoping every 10 sec and do this you get more good card this way (Promise) and buy cards from gear savnna to trade to the swamp king to get power chip etc. Now I always get a ultimate just make sure don't be lazy to get money and you'll in safe hands. My prosperity points is around 98.

Man this guy is, like, WAY COOL!!!!! Great graphics and gameplay the things I give more attention in games. The sound isn't bad but I don't care about it! About those whinings about Numemon, YOU HAVE TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR DIGIMON (Especially on the poop thing: DON'T FILL IT UP!!!!!) !!!!! I only hav 1 Numemon (but this is my cousin's save!!) and it evolved to Monzaemon not Teddymon! I don't know ANY digimon by that name!!! By the way CAN ANYONE HELP ME IN Grade S tournament?????? I got beat up in the 1st round by ETEMON!!!! Now THIS is embarrasing... Can anyone help me in Filth attacks??? I only have 1: Horizontal Kick. I know that there is an attack that he poos to an opponent, one that he puts 4 poops in the field and 1 in the opponent(Etemon used it against me) one that he spreads poop around the field, and a burp bad breath attanck, but what more and what are they're (sorry about the spelling...) names?? This game is great. If you don't like it you’re not cut out for Digimon. Digimon 1 is better than Digimon 2 and Digimon 3 about a gazillion gazillion times. I own 2 and 3 and they suck compared to Digimon 1. In Digimon 1, unlike 2 and 3, you can scold and praise your Digimon, you can fish, you can train them without fighting, they can be sick, they can poop ect ect. Basically it’s realistic unlike the others. Anyway how do you get shellmon to join the city? I need to learn this soon. I hired the game and it has to go back soon. My inbox is stuffed so post another review to answer my question. Hurry and answer. Sorry about any spelling mistakes (nvm i fixed them now). Get your Digimon’s virus level high and it’ll Digivolve to numemon. Go to Trash Mountain and talk to the sukamon king and choose I want to change him back (or whatever the second option says) and he will get angry and change your digimon back and shoo you. you don't have to leave untill you want to. (by the way. in case you don't know nvm means never mind)

This is the best game because it has all the characteristics of real-life in it. Raising your Digimon is like raising your pet, defeating the enemies is like stopping crime.... although the storyline and graphics help alot. Anyway... I have a little tip for ya'll. Here's what a Chain-Melon does-
Raises Discipline
Raises Happiness
Lowers Tiredness
Raises Life-Span
Weight goes up 3
Also, the DigiSeabass increases your Life-Span by 24 hours, unless it gets sick. You have a chance of getting sick when eating them from Dragon-Eye Lake. You need the Amazing-Rod. They are on the screen with the vending machine. You need a DigiMushroom or Meat. Catch a DigitalAnchovy. Then use it to catch a BlackTrout. Use that to catch the DigiSeabass in the bottom right corner.
I'll be around posting stuff here and there. So in my opinion, you shouldn't really sell them!!

Digimon world is the best game I have played on the PSX console and it really is! I am a master in all the digimon games and in this game I acheived a tamer level of ten and that's the maximum tamerlevel you can get. I have got all digimon in the city and in my chart. I won all the medals and I defeated Machinedramon about some 23 times but all I get is a chain-melon! Well, that's good only if you want your digimon to live a little longer than before. One thing I want to tell you guys is in card battle, the exact locations of the digimon you can find is given, but I could'nt find all of them. I mean if you look at a digimon card in DCB, The digimon will be standing near a place which resembles the place you will find him in digimon world. For example, if you look at Etemon's card, he will be standing near a treehouse. and where is that treehouse?
Of course, that's in native forest. So you can find your digimon if you look at their cards in DCB. That's all what I wanted to say.

I would've given it a 10, but in the translation from japanese to english, they rushed and the game had some pretty obvious glitches (did anyone else's digimon have a agumonmonmon after it?) but i see some of you are actually having touble just playing the game. Here's some tips: To see all the digimon, open up the card list, select a card, and press triangle. Hold triangle and press "x". the card should freeze on-screen. switch from card view to digimon view and select a digimon, then hit any arrow button and it will go to the digimon either above, below, or to the side of it. Also, if your digimon gets a crap sign over his head go to a friggin toilet. It's also not hard to get an ultimate. I guess most of you would just train all the time, but you should only train their stats to a minimum of 100 and a max of 250. Train no more then 6 times a day (6 hours) and then go out and explore and fight wild digimon. This is the way i got my favorite digimon, Giromon and Metal Mamemon
