Crave have let their imaginations run wild here! They picture the future as people driving magnetic "tripods" instead of cars in the future. It is set in the 23rd Century, when gasoline supplies have all but run out, so the eventually a magnetic form of driving was thought of, as a replacement, and it allowed for a very fast way of driving. When it developed into a sport, officials designed courses on other planets, as well as on Earth. These seemingly impossible courses where designed. Heres where you come in! You have been given the opportunity to race in this compotition, which has 4 classes. You have to choose one of the three tripods, and win all four tracks offered to you at the start. Once you clear one, you get the next class tripod up. Once you do that, choose another tripod and doo the same. Thats how the game works. Anyway, the game gives you 15 tripods, 9 courses, and if you do well, a secret 25% faster mode! Not bad huh? The graphics are fast, and even at speeds of 500+ mph, still run smoothly. There is a great soundtrack, which fits in nicely with the racing style. And the sheer speed is amazing, and you can even start facing sideways and upside down, its all about the magnetic power! Overall Killer Loop could be so much better, like a two-player mode would have been nice, but it still is worth buying, and maybe it doesnt compare to WipeOut, but what is here is very good.
