Like others "shoot and beat" game, your play troughout a
stage blasting tanks, alien, worms, and many other things and last you are face to face with the Boss of the stage.
At the beginnig your watch a nice movie about the facts of this game. The earth is under atack by one artificial inteligence named as "THE GUARDIAN", who is in control of the technology "Vasteel" the latest development in war machine.
Next your are in control of a ship named "Gauntlet", this one can increase is fire power is you catch items for that. Until you expertise in the use of this weapons (buttons), your gonna be wiped out really fast.
This game has three stages, in the first one you fight in the earth, second you fight your way to the alien ship in the space and the third you fight inside the alien ship.
The dificulty of this game can be selected, you can select the stages to;the gallery of images is really cute, and if you donīt want beat the game so many time to can see it(their are hidden and dont appear until you defeat the game under certain concitions), this images are in format BMP so you can seeīt in any graphic editor like Photosop, paint, etc...
Finally itīs good idea buy this if you like the idea of blast and get throught thousands of enemys and heavy hard to beat bosses.
If you like the movies inside the game your really enjoy this game.Believed me.
The good or bad ending depends upon how fast you take out the last boss,
The good: This game have a good design (robots, scroll, background, weapons). The best if ths movies (for me), the stageīs bosses are really cool, (robots in the ocean, a really big one Bug, a really strange woman body, a trasnformer knight-ship, and the final enemy remaindīs me a Digimon, itīs a eagle, whith sonic blast, huge claws, big wings, looks like a digital "entity")
the bad: for me the only bad if the really small size of the ship Gauntlet, in the stages of the earth, but this disapear in the space and ship stages.
