Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Sorry i just fell asleep thinking what to write about this pile of turd! well here goes first of all your weilding huge swords and other just as terrifying weaponry and theres no blood not a drop thats right not one even mortal combat on the master system had a blood option. But no the good people at namco must of overlooked fine detail such as realism a sword round the head in real life would be all she wrote but no it wont even put you on your butt in this game an then then theres the blockie graphics and the ring out option firstly who's ever had a fight an stopped when the opponent falls out the ring this game is a cheap rip off of virtual fighter with swords and we all know whats happened to sega theve gone bust an now sonic the smeghog's running round on nintendo the only redeeming feature to this game is edge master mode as it gets quite challengeing but arcade mode is rubbish i found every secret character within 24 hours includeing seigfried! which requires spending a good hour on edge master mode but due to review writeing procedure i cant tell you exactly how to get this this character so i hope you have fun figureing it out because i sure as hell didnt

A Tale of Soul and Swords |
| Lady Zeonite from Burlington,USA says (9/Aug/2003): |
This is one of Namco's classics that was ever put together. If you are looking for a good fighter for Playstation then go on a treasure hunt and dig out this gold. This game includes lots of bonuses that will keep you at the game for days. There are eight characters at first and they all have different strengths and weapons. Don't worry if you don't like the way the game works then change the settings in the cool easyworking options. If you don't enjoy this game then turn off the game, set down the controller, and slowly walk away in shame.

Excellent gameplay, graphics and addictevenss!
Soul Blade Platinum is a must for anyone who has a love of fighting with swords or just plain mortal combat. With ten different characters each with own special moves this game is the best thing to hit the PSx since Crash Bandicute.
This ultimate chase to find the Evil Sword, Soul Edge is a Super Bonus in the Egde Master Mode.
Soul Blade scores a phenominal 10

Soul Blade is a weapon based fighter that is great. You start off with only one weapon but you unlock more in Soul Edge mode which adds alot of replay value. The gameplay is very great.I like the gameplay better than Tekken. It also has very good graphics and if you want to unlock everything in Soul Edge mode you will be hooked. If you like fighting games you will love this.
