Stomping, squishing and smashing the life out of a simple concept... | | Shawn Guay from Calgary, Canada says (2/Jan/2001): | I'm old enough to remember (and spent most of my allowances on) playing the original Rampage aracade stand up. It was a simple little concept, where characitures of your favorite classic screen monsters pummeling their way across America...
The concept has stayed the same, with a couple of new additions (4 new monsters and now, you get to crash your way across several continents), freeing the original Rampage trio, and then travel beyond the solar system to take on pesky aliens. However, the game is simply hit building til it falls down, repeat.... move on.
Unless you're playig with a few freinds, Rampage 2:UT is a beer and pretzles game (unless your underage of course, then it's pop and... I guess pretzles are okay). At the end of the day, your hand and brain will be numb from the repetition. (Although the animated movie at the end might spark you back to life. I think licking car batteries might do a better job...)
