The game rocks. At least i thought so until i looked at all the little flaws it had. No latteral, bad music, a clock that continues to run after running out of bounds, plus more. I mean cant you at least have the oppurtunity to change the settings. Also why when you create a player that should never get injured he gets injured almost every game? The game is like all the rest when it comes to john madden talking. Am i the only one who gets tired off hearing his voice. Im a serious game player and i get mad when things dont go my way. So when i throw a pass that doesnt get completed i dont need to hear mr john say "this quarterback thinks he can complete passes that he cant" thanks john im glad your around to help me see exactly what i just did.

Well, well well. What to say about Madden NFL 2003. I have played it for PS2 and XBox and the XBox version of it graphically is outstanding!!!!!!! The gameplay is challenging as with all of the madden games. The create a player mode is pretty good as well, but there has to me more of a lifelikeness to the players. We don't see all QB's sidearm the ball (warner and gannon) and the cornerback play is shoddy at times, the cheerleader uniforms are all the same and they should match with the uniforms of the NFL cheerleaders. The crowd needs to be more lifelike as well during games. I am gonna email EA sports and tell them my concerns of the madden series. Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10. Good game to buy.

Overall M'03 is the best football game I've played to date. I do have to say that I don't get the international teams. The uniforms suck, you can't change them, "Play Now", is the only way to use them and they have the fresh stadium designs! NFL team logos and uniform designs are not available in create a team mode. The uniforms and logos that are in create a team, look like somthing out of a coloring book. I thought that you would at least be able to select the colors in the logo and have the team name in the endzone, I.E. NCAA! This is the only thing I could find wrong with this game. For me that is quite the challenge. Tweek it up a little and I'll give it a (10).

Whats Up? It seems that the computer is able to do things we can't, like pick up a fumble and break four tackles on the way to a touchdown. They also seem to always be open no matter what defense play you pick. Now I know we get advantages like I can run the Hb pass and run for 20 yards every play but when they throw into a zone 10 yards away something is wrong. They also make it impossible to make your lineman better in franchise mode they never get pancakes, I don't know. I don't have time to play 15 mintue quarters so my line man never get any pancakes and I have the best lineman. Even though madden has somethings to workout it is still better then NFL2K3.

lets see, the game play is awesome, play selection is greatgraphics are spectacular except the crowd but nothing is perfect juke and spin moves are pretty good but come on its almost impossible to tackle someone when ur one on one with them, u have to guess which way they will juke, also i hate it when im scrolling through menus and the name and artist of the song that is playing pops up right on top of where ur scrolling, put that where ur not looking, and the hurry up offense is a little lame because the players get set as if they are normally running an offense, it wastes time, but all in all ea out did itself again and i cant wait until 2004 keep it up!

Ok the dive button in madden is so underatted why? A player will be within arms reach you dive you chewing turf. How do you defend the deep ball when average players dont have a brain and mis judge balls. why does wide receviers have jordaness hang time if the computer was smart they would just throw bombs and have 600 yards of passing per game. why does the hb or fb move out of the way of blitzing lb's. whats with the computer and the quick score before the end of the half? The strip ball button is a fraud even when the computer fumbles fat lineman and cat-like on the recoveries. How do you block kicks someone tell me. Game needs overall improvement

i just bought this and its good but i should of spent my money on a pokemon game and get more sense out of that instead. the book dosent tell what the controils are. I think all they need to make this game perfect is just:
1. Make the franchise with lots of depth
2. This is the only nitpick of this game I have, I love to make my season realistic, if my team goes over 650 total yards I restart I don't even care if it's GOOD for my team! Whenever I get injuries they never last! IT makes the game more realistic if starters actually get injured once in a while for 1-7 weeks. I hate when I get 2 injuries in a game and both are like at most 2 quarters. What is UP with that! PLZ give me a YES or a NO on this one. I'm thinking aobut writing an FAQ so I need feedback. THX

Graphics are very good.Playing defense is hard though. The second easiest level on the game seems too difficult. The computer catches passes too easy and breaks almost every tackle. Where is the SEASON MODE?????I don't care for the franchise mode because it seems like half the league retires and all of the fake players that u have to draft.You should also be able to play a game even if u only have one quarterback or short any other postition, they do in real life.Should also be allowed to change a players position just the same.The best football game would be even better if all that was changed.

Just because a one player makes a good play, the opponent should not have to battle the other player plus the computer. In other words chill out on all the momentum crap the next time. Think about it. If my players start dropping 80% of their passes and fumbling the ball, QB starts getting all these high snaps ,ETC. after the other team makes a big play whats the use of even continuing the game. Let the game be played evenly all the way to the end. So that no one player has that much of an advantage over another. THE GAME WILL BE A LOT MORE REALISTIC AND FUN!!!!

Madden 2003 is the best foot ball game ever made, but if a 2004 version is to be released why not have a mode where you can time warp teams from the differnt periods in nfl history like the 1930's on up to the present ex( 1932 boston braves, chicago cardinals etc) with classic players, nfl europe teams and decideing how many games who you play eveyweek with the stats being saved after every season to show carrer stats even if a player is traded, also wether effects could be better and feild conditions inproved to show wear and tear during a game

best football game ever created, gameplay is realistic, from blitzing linebackers to the fullback breaking tackles up the middle, right down to the endzone dancing. as far as improvements, would like to see all time record holders even after players retires. downside is historic players, once added to roster should start off as rookies not 30 yrs old, where is joe montana? also having the ability to bring back, somehow players that retired, aside from creating that player.
all in all this game is awesome. a must for big game players.

This game is the best football game/ normal game ever created. The graphics rule, create a team lets one be creative, and the variety of comments allow it to be played for hours on end. Like anyting it has minor defects like not saying created players' and teams' names and no matter how big, strong, good your offensive line is you never get pancakes. Plus when playing in All- Madden mode a person with 99 speed and acceleration shouldn't be caught by someone with 70. Except for those small things Madden '03 is the greatest game ever.

the gameplay and graphics are great on this madden.I have played madden every year since 95 and i can tell you it is almost perfect.The is no way to make a sports game more realistic.The running game is so real.And the passing is great to.I only have to problems with the game.First on defense the computer does to much in pass coverage knocking down balls.In previous maddens you had to do more yourself.Second sometimes when you go to knockdown a pass its not consistent how the defender reaches.Overall madden 2003 is the best sports game

i dont care wat other peeps think about this game i think that the create a player feature is the best i mean you can create one person then put him at halfback a linebacker and kicker then kick 65 yard field goals with eaz.when you stop a team til fourth down and they punt the easiest way is to move yer created player out by the cornerback then press and hold turbo while running at the punter you can tackle him or jus block the punt. i think that in the future games the creators should make the tackles more hard hitting

The franchise is longer and also the new mini camp is awesome. I have played Madden since 95 and it just keeps getting beter and better. The graphics are unbelievable and the commentary is amazing too. The madden cards are awesome too. If you havn't tried it then I suggest that you better go get it because your going to love it too. Also the new stiff arm moves let you break tackles better. The gang tackles they have added are so cool. The music is awesome to listen too. You can also create your own playbook.

i think this is one of the best games i ever played. but i have some suggestions too. i read some of the other reveiws and agree with some of the things they said. you should be able to change players positions. their should be expansion drafts. the computers should do more in franchise mode like put players on IR and make trades with you. it would be cool if you could hold practices in franchise mode too. and the playbook creator should allow you to create a wider range of plays such as reverses.

I feel the online play could be alot better. First of all it's too slow... It's like playing another Video Game.... The game play should play like it would if you were playing someone in your house... Now Sega NFL 2k3 plays that way.. for the x-box... That's because it only accepts high speed internet. There should be a room for high speed and a separate room for dial up... And you should be to see the difference... When this happens, the online experience will be taken to a new height...

This game was the best out of all of them. The defensive play is the best ever with gang takling. The offensive gameplay is still pretty much the same except for the fact that the computer is faster than you. The only thing that I hate about this game is that if you hurt the computers QB, the backout comes into the game and kills you, and another thing that EA might want to improve on is not making it so easy for the computer to pass for 500 yards on you when they can't run against you.

This is still the best football game going. It just keeps getting better each year. There are a couple of things that could have made this game a 10. One is the pass coverage, if you try for the interception and fail it's seven points the other way. Which brings me to my next point, if the computer gets a step ahead of you ,forget trying to catch up for the tackle. The computer always seems to find more speed than you. Other than that, what else can you say, "it's Madden NFL!".
