I have recently purchased this game and have been searching the net for others who have the game as well. I have found some ppl but it seems that not all of them fully understand the concept of the game.They DO let you pick what you want to digivolve into you just have to know exactly what needs to be done to obtain that particular digimon. It's not hard, you just have to train your digimon properly. Anyways, about the game. I is an excellent game. I think that it's the best anime based video game around. The battles were a bit annoying, but once you see through it, the game is great. The graphics are excellent for a ps1 game during battles and FMV's. Who knows, maybe they'll make a part 4 for the PS2 (which they should've done with this one:( )but it's still great. And hard. The card battles are fun but frustrating at times when you just can't win. Anyways, if anyone can tell me how to beat Zanbamon in the catacombs, feel free to e-mail me.

What I don't like about the game is why the heck can't we save wherever we want. My mom is all mad at me because she tells me to turn it off but I can't because I need to get to an inn to save. They have to make one for ps2, the graphics are terrible. They should have Gatomon and terriermon too. Also they got this thing all messed up, tons of spelling errors and stingmon digiviolves to kabuterimon instead of DinoBeemon. It's cool though how you can get rosemon. we should be able to get Biyomon too. Card battles are nice and simple. Why does seraphimons seven hevens do barely anything.
I think digimon world 4 should be more like the pokemon gameboy game and also look back at digimon world, Rumble arena (my favorite, and card battle. But still it's my favorite ps game.

the things i hated most (digimon world 3) is that their attacks are "kind of" the same!! and the scenes when their going to attack! (tech) some kind of a pinkish energy ball! i hate that?! and the elements on the backgroung when hitting the enemy, i want the battle scenes in digimon battle card to be replaced. and most especially the camera view!! i dont like only one view till the end of the game, that keeps me bored....

well, all i can say about digimon is, its really good, you shoulda been able to choose what your digimon evolve into, but hey still a good game, its really hard as well, i had trouble with it anyway, but thats just me. definately a good game to end ps1's reign of power with. maybe some day my parents will let me buy ps2. :\
all n all, a good game, definately buy it if u like a challenge.

Digimon World 3 is quite nice also because it is in 3D. The graphics are nice, the Digimon are fantastic, their evolutions are great, but the two star deduction is because of the battles. The 3D battle is just to lame the same moves and the ooponent when hit, just boops around the screen and then there is that walking around the servers bit it gets so irritating after a few hours. There is one thing that I just could not understand.....why is digivolving that hard? You have to do the stupid walk around the stupid server thing around 'Digimon Land' to just find some DNA!? The creators should just let the gamer/tamer choose the digimon that is wanted on the next level. IS IT THAT HARD!?!?!? Phew, all and all Digimon World 3 will certainly end the world of the Playstation 1 with a gallant bow. One more thing.....BUY IT!

To be honest about this game, it kind of bores me out. NO wonder its only for 19.99 where i got it. I think the digimon in battle scene looks kind of dopey. When you choose attack it hits them and they just bounce around. All i think is that they look so ugly!!! Especially greymon!!!!!!! Hes so skinny and looks like its about to die. The battles are so slow.

I loved the graphics of DMW3 because they were 3D. I loved the DNA Digivolution because it showed the same process from the T.V. Show. Some things bored me like the card dueling because it didn't show the digimon engage in battle like DCB. I hated the inn because you had to pay more Bit as you got farther in the game. I didn't really like the way you couldn't get in the Admin Center. I liked the dueling Island, because you get good packs if you win. The thing I like best about this game is that you never know when you will get in a battle with a wild digimon because you can't see them, unlike in DW1 & 2 you know when you will get in battles. The other great thing about this game is that you always start out with 2 digimon that can DNA digivolve.

It's more than a few little monters to fight, it's a whole new world in digivolution. your not just limited to one or two digivolutions there is a wide number of champion, ultimate, and mega forms for each digimon. And it doesn't stop there you can also DNA digivole! pordon my spelling.......

This has got to be the best digimon world, DW1 was good but way too short, DW2 was way too long and boring ,yet had good music ,except for one battle theme. Part 3, makes you forget that 1 and 2 ever were made. Digimon World 3 has good graphics, but they are not all that original though, some parts look like they are from Monster Rancher( the training centers) or Pokemon (the world map) but who cares! The world map is pretty confusing especially the underground areas, but that doesn?t lower anything , except your patience. The in-battle digivolving, the DNA digivolving and the ability to choose what form your digimon can become are DW3's shining point and makes for very interesting battles. Excellent music, except when fighting other people (Tamer Mark, Student Yuki etc.) ,the annoying upbeat/fanfare battle music from DW2's 2 player mode annoys once again. Good design, good replay, but no two player mode. The only thing that keeps this game from the perfect rating is the difficulty. I love difficult games but not cheap games, don?t take it the wrong way but some parts are too cheap for my taste, digimon that will only take a few points of damage and digimon that will humiliate you by dodging you consecutively but be patient and this problem will seem like nothing. This game has a good life span, it's the only game I have not beaten within 24 to 72 hours of owning, and I don't gameshark. If there is another digimon based game, I don?t want to play it.

A really sweet game with some to spare. Good backround graphics add to the gameplay. A tip for begining tamers, make sure you have at least three level 15 Ultimates and 4 life discs before taking on Zanbamon in the Catacombes of the Ether Jungle Shrine.

Digimon 3 is excellent because it has Digimon 1 and to combine 1 heck of a game.It has season 1, 2 and 3 digimon,and some brand new digimon too. It's easier than the one's before so at least we can beat it.

This games is the best! It has very good graphics. You get to be digimon from seasons 1, 2, 3, and a sneak preview of season 4! You get to blast digivolve. You start out with 3 digimon! This games is better then digimon 1 and 2! The training is way better then digimon 1! The music is pretty good. Digivoving is way cool! Walking around looks cool. The attacks or teqniecs are way cool! Kicking boots are way cool! The card game is really fun! DNA digivolving is cool. Kumumon, Monmon, and Kotemon are really cool! They are in season 4! All the digimon are cool! This is the best game ever!

A realy cool game and a mix of Digimon World one, two and Digital Card Battle! The musics great and new digimon and they also have a very good graphics. The only thing that's bad is you can only digivolve when you battle and the Blasting is realy coool!! Buy this game no sense of wasting money try it it's worth it!:)

Digimon world 3 is awsome. It Is like Digimon World 1 and 2 were put together. It is also very addicting and exciting. This game has the fastest loading time to go into a battle than any other Digimon game because it just flicks on without even loading or anything. Also you can digivolve anytime you want to as long as your digimon knows a digivolution type. A great thing about this game is that you start with three digimon that have different abilities and you get to choose those three digimon out three different packs. Also this game includes digimon from all three seasons and sneak peaks at digimon from the upcoming season four. In this game you may buy weapons to give to your digimon to make them stronger. This game has awsome scenery graphics but the charachters and digimon have a cartoonish look to them which makes the game look pretty cool. The digimon in battle have a more pointed look to them so the battles look messed up. Instead of getting weaker when they DNA digivolve like Digimon World to they get stronger just like in the episodes but only certain digimon can DNA digivolve. There are three bad things in the game and thats why I marked the score down. One is that when you save or load your game it takes forever. The other is that if you go into a saection that your not supposed to go and you don't really know where your supposed to go you get slaghtered by the digimon there. And the last one is that you naver know when you gonna run into a digimon it just happens out of nowhere. I really think this game is good if you have patients and don't get stressed out easily so this game for me is a keeper.

i love this game the graphics are cool the digimon are cool and the new digi battle card game is asume too. It was the ultimate gaming to and there is no better adventure game for the Psone, and the only thing wrong with this game are the complicated niss because im stuck on a part thats puzzling. This game is a maze a fight and a mini game games so this game is the best of the best x 100000.

Digimon World 3 is not only a cool game with awesome graphics, a pack of 3 Digimon that will always give you a character from Season 4, and the amazing tale that sure beats Pokemon.. it has the freshest music, many shops simple and sweet, big boss Digimon, many locations that give a worldly atmosphere, and a DJ dude who uses our teen slang "dawg"! You'll venture into ruins, the jungle, the city, the swamp, a "dinosaur" valley, and lots more. You do need to gain experience, but your one Digimon can Digivolve into about anything. Ex. Agumon can become Greymon, SkullGreymon, MetalGreymon, WarGreymon, Omnimon, and others. You can DNA Digivolve automatically! There are even crests and eggs in the game that you can find. And the card game Rika and Ryo won is also available for you to play...it's just the smartest game. Anyone who likes Digimon or adventure should check this out!

This game is really cool, but the graphics is not pretty good as Digimon World 2's. But I recommend this game who is truely a Digimon super fan. This game have tons of Digimon!! But everything is awesome and I think I can I add this up Digimon collection. So to anyone hadn't bought this game yet, GET IT NOW!!! Good work BANDAI!!

This game is the best it is way better than all of the other ones before it because you can train your Digimon and there level will keep going up and you can eventually get all there digivolutions unlike Digimon World 2 where your level would just stop and you couldn't get above champion without a lot of work. This game is great, it's the best one yet.
