The remake of Lunar, even though I played it along time ago is probally by far one of the best role playing games of all time. This is by far working designs best project to date, this game focused on storyline over anything else and although its not where most people would expect it to be graphic wise, it has a beautiful soundtrack and storyline that will get you trapped in this game refusing to let it go. Whenever a game can make you fall in love with your characters, you know there doing something right

Lunar SSS is one of the few last great RPG's out there the characters are themselves without monotonous repetition of lines. The backgrounds are well done and breathtaking. The FMV's though few are worth the wait. The storyline is by far one of the greatest ever written. The battles are intriguing tho and you cannot run on screen.(which is well needed). The voice acting is great especially Nall!

Truely A Great RPG |
| Tony from California, USA says (9/Apr/2001): |
Lunar SSS is one of the all time best RPGs. And the fact that they remade it on the PSX is even better. Now the game has great anime sequences and voice overs. The characters are halarious and have true identities. This game is a classic and I highly recommend it for the true RPGers that aren't only impressed by graffics. B/c without a great line of characters and a story, a game isn't worth playing. Trust me, Lunar SSS is a great game and so is its sequel, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue.

One of the best RPGs I have ever played |
| Sebastian from Charlotte,North Carolina says (2/Mar/2001): |
Lunar Silver Star Story is by far one of the best RPGs I have played. I admit the graphics are cartoony but the story line,FMVs and the battle sequences are all good. The FMV graphics are better than basically every other game on playstation. The music/sound in LSSS was very well selected. The best music is the boss battle music. The second best is the regular battle music, then the ending boss theme. The gameplay is excellent. LSSS has a lifespan of about 70 hours. In other words you should be able to play it for that long with out getting tired of it. This game will keep you entertained for hours on end. The originality list go's on and on. First of all at the end of the game you can listen to the outtakes of when the makers were recording the FMVs. Also they include a Making of Lunar CD which shows the step by step process they took to make it. They also include a Music CD for all you music lovers out there. If you are just getting your playstation and trying to decide what game to buy, take my advice buy Lunar Silver Star Story Complete.

A game you should try to avoid! |
| Nate Reif-Wenner from St. Cloud, MN, USA says (18/Jan/2001): |
This was one of the worst RPGs I have ever played! The storyline was boring, the number of magic spells was so small it made me cry, and the choice of weapons and equipment would make anyone scream! I did like the voice overs and the CG movies but it didn't help pull this game out of the crapper. The gameplay was terrible, too. Battles seemed to be incredibly easy yet at the same time the control was so bad. I would not wish this game on my worst enemy.
