it has the best cars ever,fastest and even if you never liked to play car racing games and you play this game it will be the only game you play again in your life.PLAY IT IS THE GREATEST GAME IN THE WHOLE WORLD. first i even hated racing games but after my best frind got me to play it i stayed playing it for at least 3 hours straight and the game is so realestic not like other car racing games like when you just get to pick any car you want but in grand turismo you have to buy your cars and have to have different licens to race in certain type of events.UHH IT IS SO COOL

The car that I like driving most in GTA 2 is the TVR Speed 12. This mean looking monster has explosive acceleration, and can hit speeds of about 395km/h untuned. However this is the 3rd slowest car in GTA2, because the Escudo Pikes Peak is a bit better. However the Speed 12 has great handling (that is if you know how to drive cars that push their power on the rear end). The best car for top speed is the Drag car. I tuned it, and on test course I've hit an incredible 443km/h. This game is a monster. A must for car lovin' maniacs like me.

for a mid 12 second car in the 0-400 meter test get the spoon civic type R or the 93 civic si. these cars are really fast when you tune them up. they can take a stock viper Gts, viper Rt/10 or any corvette. i call these cars the american killer rides. the spoon civic has a hp of only 250 and can run 12.7 on the quarter mile, and the 93 civic si has a hp on 293 and can run also 12.7 on quarter mile. i race these rides against cars that are 100hp more and they can kick ass. they have very good handling in the tracks and never burn out.

How do you describe greatness? That is the greatness of GT2. This game is better than the original (even if the licence is easy) but the game has everything I wanted from the first and more. The graphics are better, the computer is tougher, and there is a broader selection of vehicle makes and models. My favorite is the Special NSX and the PUMA 3000GT. All you could want is in this game including endurance and rally racing. If anyone has a PS this is the first and only game they need. It is the king of all games.

Gran turismo is great because it has a ton of cars, tracks, etc. Here you can learn a lot of the cars and the cars have a lot of specific aspects and details. In the game there are a lot of cool cars like the viper concept car, Toyota gt-one, Ford gt40, etc. The sounds are great and the graphics are kind of week but there good enough to buy this game. If you hear the game, you can hear the engines sound diffrent in each car. In conclusion I have to say that nobody is ever going to beat gran turismo series.

This is not only the best racing game on the PSX, but simply the BEST GAME EVER on the PSX. Gameplay is amazing, you just have to do it again and again, even if you win. Replay`s are awsome, just like watching the tele. Can you imagine driving a 1011hp racing car, well you can with GT2. I just can`t praise this game enough, I have been gaming on the PC for 20 years now an have never found anything that compare`s to GT2. If you like racing cars, then get Grand Turismo 2. AMAZING 20/10

i am a nut about driving games. When Gran Turismo came out I loved it, when GT2 arrived,, I hoped only for better. Yes, that is what I got. the graphics are better, so too is the handling of the cars. It is far more realistic. Unfortunately, it does not compare at all to games on XBOX. playstation sucks in comparison. Still, the game is great and has so many races to complete before you finish the game, it literally keps u entertained for ages.I still haven't! NJOY! Stuart

Gran Turismo 2 is still best racing game ! Car collection is great but not perfect ! Graphics are old of course 2 years old game ! Game looks good on PS2 ! there is many all-round cars (can win many races) !! Rally jumps is not so realistic like Colin McRae ! I own all Gran Turismo`s 1,2,3 but Gran Turismo 2 is absolutely BEST !!!! Sounds are good every car is own motorsound ! real life i inspect cars on sound after buy this game !!! I think every one can win with the Escudo Pikes Peek Version (susuki) my little brother can win every race with this car.
I drive with cars abaut 500 hp and very good steering because drift is the best way to drive very fast my best time on Rome Circuit is ---->0:54:523<---- and no one with that Escudo Pikes Peek Version (susuki) can beat that time because this car is understeering you can not drive fast in corners

OK well this is the best game ever. I love it. Its so addicting like on how if you want a car and you need 50,000 you'll race till you got 100,000. Yeah but I just wanted to let everyone know the best car in the game. It is the Susuki Escodu Pikes Peak Version. It has 991 horse power and it is 4-wheel-drive but its 2million dollars. Well catch you on the flip side. O Yeah if you dont agree on the Susuki being the best car, email me and tell me what is?

I play Grand Turismo 2 like every day. I have Over 8million credits and the fastest cars in the game. My fastest car,and the fastest in the game, is the Escudo Pikes Peek Version (susuki) I challenge anyone who thinks the can beat me. This game is the best racing game I have ever played. I have completed 99% of the game i have one more race to finish and it is the susuki eveny. Well i got to go complete that race now. peace out.

gran turismo 2 is the greatest simulation game ever, it has everything a car enthusiest would want, it has muscle cars. the specs are almost perfect and the driving is great. in real life skylines have 280 hp though. and the escudo is only one engine. other than that the reality of the game is perfect. its like you do have ten vipers in your gerage. every time i turn on my tv to play it i get exited.

This is the best game for the playstation bar Metal Gear Solid. Full of options it can be as complicated or as simple as you like. The AI is great and the graphics are the best you can get out of a playstation.
The game takes a while to complete but it's worth it. When you buy your first car and continually update it for the best performance you don't want to sell it when it becomes out of date.

There is no bul$#< remove me > at ! cars that are made up just real life cars that are pretty nice and fast. The races are fun and enjoyable. This game is a must buy for anyone. You don't even have to be into cars to loke the game!!!

I think I like our cars such as the VIPER,MUSTANG,and CORVETTE I know they are not as fast but they are better at places like the seatle circut i used the viper in the all star race and I beat all the japanesse cars.
AS for the game it is the best racing game on the playstation one but I still found the graphics a little slow but the number of cars made up for most of it.

This action packed throtle filling game is one for the history books. This game was not great because of graphics but for the variety of cars, tracks and also driving style.
The graphics were excellent for its time.7/10
The sound was more than fine creating a more competitive environment. 8/10

This game is every racers dream on a video game. I love this game, it is one of my favourite PS One games. Personally, my favourite car is the Ford GT40, with 492hp, but it's steering and performance for it's hp makes up for everything. This game is very realistic and gets people into liking cars. I give the game 10 stars up, and is the best racing you'll ever find.

this is the best racing game i have ever played in my life you can do almost everything you can do in real life with a car it has alot of cars.i played GT3 too but the bad thing is that it doesnt have any muscle cars and only has like 200+ cars and the only bad thing about GT2 is the graphics because ive already gotten used to the graphics of xbox & ps2.

This is the best racing game i have ever played in my life.it justifies the fun of racing on a computer screen. the graphics are simply breath taking and the cars are matched perfectly to real cars. this is a challenging game and took me a while to get any cars at all although there are some faults these are phased out once you have played the game.

for all you escudo fans whom think that the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak is fast... get the Toyota GT-One, it IS faster, try it out on max speed test, anyway, ALL the GT games own, GT 1 was amazing, but GT 2 rox, the amount of cars, the graphics, the gameplay, only thing that beats it is GT3 on the PS2, but GT2 is THE best game on the PS1, so GET IT
