Gran Turismo 2. Hmmmh what can i say. it is perfect. the fastest car is no the escudo though. i know what you are thinking 'who does this guy think he is?'well the fastest car isnot the escudo or the drags. it is the Toyota GTONE road version. the on you buy you put a stage 4 turbo kit on it and youll break 425Km/h. no jokes you don' believe ne try it. but there is a way to get another drag car on the game. you get the
Dodge intrepid and put racing mods on it and you get the mopar dragster. also i know how toget the NISMO GTR LM edition of the first one. you buy the special modeel from nissan and get racing mods for it cool huh? Well that is a 10/10 game for me no worry's. the Escudo stinks. when you hit a corner at over 350km/h it suddenly gets over steer and hits the nearest 100 walls (exaggerating slightly).Good on ya polyphony thanks for making this wonderfully perfect racing simulator.

The only way to beat Gt2 is to beat all the races in 1st place imean all the races. then you have to win all the cars that you can win. then you have to buy every single car that exisit when you go car shopping. then you have to soup up all the cars you have that can be souped up. iv'e gotten to 99.9% i just have to buy a few more cars a soup them all up.I give this game a 8 cause the game takes to long to beat. You also have to buy every single special car. i have over over 300 cars. i bought a few doubles. i also bought every used car. That the only way to beat the game. i have exactly 200,345,789,346 credits. That alot of money huh. my friends cousins have more money, but they play the game more than me. they've already beaten the game at 100% thats my advice.

Gran turismo is great because it has a ton of cars, tracks, etc. Here you can learn a lot of the cars and the cars have a lot of specific aspects and details. In the game there are a lot of cool cars like the viper concept car, Toyota gt-one, Ford gt40, etc. The sounds are great and the graphics are kind of week but there good enough to buy this game. If you hear the game, you can hear the engines sound diffrent in each car. In conclusion I have to say that nobody is ever going to beat gran turismo series.

The car that I like driving most in GTA 2 is the TVR Speed 12. This mean looking monster has explosive acceleration, and can hit speeds of about 395km/h untuned. However this is the 3rd slowest car in GTA2, because the Escudo Pikes Peak is a bit better. However the Speed 12 has great handling (that is if you know how to drive cars that push their power on the rear end). The best car for top speed is the Drag car. I tuned it, and on test course I've hit an incredible 443km/h. This game is a monster. A must for car lovin' maniacs like me.

I play Grand Turismo 2 like every day. I have Over 8million credits and the fastest cars in the game. My fastest car,and the fastest in the game, is the Escudo Pikes Peek Version (susuki) I challenge anyone who thinks the can beat me. This game is the best racing game I have ever played. I have completed 99% of the game i have one more race to finish and it is the susuki eveny. Well i got to go complete that race now. peace out.

This is the greatest game ever. I absolutely love it. I have earned up to the max amount of cash possible and have completed it 100%. My favorite car is the GT ONE 99 because it took me about 2 hours just to get all golds on the s licence. I really don't like the Escudo but I only use it for the Rally races. I have 100 cars in my garage and the only one that I am really still working on getting is the Mitsubishi FTO LM. I don't understand how I can get all the golds on the s licence but not on the I-A licence. But it doesn't really matter. But I have enjoyed it for the 2 years that I have had it. It felt great to complete it all the way. I couldn't say anything bad about this game.

If you know how to get it were and how much. The game is very goog i play it all the time sometimes fo 5 hours or more my favorite car is the escudo and the gt one road car and the nissan skyliner. The graphics are very good and sound is ok but the selection of the cars are not it would of been nice if there was a ferrari of formula 1 or lambourginnie diablo that would of been very good. well the escudo is the fastest car in the game they should put grand turismo and driver 2 toghether maybe tha would be cool.

I think every one can win with the Escudo Pikes Peek Version (susuki) my little brother can win every race with this car.
I drive with cars abaut 500 hp and very good steering because drift is the best way to drive very fast my best time on Rome Circuit is ---->0:54:523<---- and no one with that Escudo Pikes Peek Version (susuki) can beat that time because this car is understeering you can not drive fast in corners

i love my S2000 rally car because it is a fast car to drive but you have to know how to control it it can slide out on you if you dont know how to control it. Also you some races say that you cant drive a car < remove me > at 591 horse power but some of the speacil cars you cant.

to me the most badass lookin car car and most fun to drive has gotta be the supra rz. not that fast off the line but at about 2 gear those 2jz's really kick in. but i gotta agree the quickest car is the escudo pikes peak version. that car takes home the whole damn cake. thats all i play after i get home from football practice i head right to gt2. but its all about good old fashion american muscle. especially the 68' shelby gt500. most bitchen car out there. charger,cuda,corvette,camaro,challenger. all the best. thats why this game diserves a 10.anyone that doesnt agree.blow me.

buy the spendy skyline and soup it up(i mean every thing). dont buy anything 4 the transmision except 4 raceing gears.then go to the test track. go to settings and hit L1 find were it says sport and wide and change it all the way to wide. it should go faster. i got mine to do 2oo.

I come to you with more knowledge of GT2. The dragsters DO exist one is called the HKS R33 drag you can get this by going on special event-Tuned turbo car cup-test course-win. The other one; HKS drag 180 sx is won when you win laguna seca on the paciffic legue after comleting the reigonals.To get a Racing GT40 go to special event-midship challenge-high speed link- come 1st. Speed 12: special event-gran turismo all stars-super speedway-1st. ZZ-II(J): gran turismo all stars-Rome city course-1st. Nissan R390 road car: special event-gran turismo all stars-laguna seca-1st. Loads of you people out there think that the Escudo is the best car on the GT2.The Escudo is the car that requires no skill whatsoever to drive, it's like hiring your own personal ps1 cheufer called Lez to do all the hard work for you while you tell him where to go whilst you drink your glass of bubbly in the back seat. On to my car that is better than it in almost every way, the Toyota GT one road car is quicker on the 100m test, the timed lap, and the max speed test. If you have any skill in you, you will probably be able to handle a little oversteer. Then theres the looks the Escudo is posibly the ugliest car on the planet, and the gt noe is astoundingly good looking. My advise it to buy both see what you like the most then use the best (GT one road car) the most.

for a mid 12 second car in the 0-400 meter test get the spoon civic type R or the 93 civic si. these cars are really fast when you tune them up. they can take a stock viper Gts, viper Rt/10 or any corvette. i call these cars the american killer rides. the spoon civic has a hp of only 250 and can run 12.7 on the quarter mile, and the 93 civic si has a hp on 293 and can run also 12.7 on quarter mile. i race these rides against cars that are 100hp more and they can kick ass. they have very good handling in the tracks and never burn out.

Gran turismo 2 is my all time favorite game. What makes it so good is all of the cars you can get through out the game, plus you can build up the speed, traction and tons of other stuff on any of the 500 cars in the game. Apart from the original GT1 (Grand Turismo 1)which is mostly about the racing, GT2 (Gran Turismo 2) is more about the cars and there abilities and limits. This game will also give you detaled information about all 500 cars in the game. Gran Turismo 2 consists of brand name manufactuers such as Dodge, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet, Plymoth, Suzuki, Shelby, and many more. Also the graphics are unbelievibly excellent. On a scale from one ten I give Gran Turismo 2 an 11!

Grand turismo 2 is no doubt better than any other racing game ever!! Honestly, what other racing game gives you over six hunded cars to customize and modificate and like 20 tracks that arent gay made up tracks but actual racing tracks and they are accurate.belive me, if you buy this game you will amazed at how you can play it for 11 hours straight and not get tired of it.they only down side to this game is the fact that the people at playstation wanted to get the game on the shelves before chrismas and they never completed it, its only 98% done! they left out about two good songs, a couple tracks,about 50 cars, and a two mile drag strip.I personaly think that playstation should come out with a updated version with better graphics and all the stuff they left out!!! fight the power and send playstation as many emails and phone calls as you can complaining about this problem and tell them to update it.but still GT2 will always be the best racing game ever!!!

Grand Turismo, in my opinion, is one of, if not the best racing games ever made for PS1. The graphics, from the cars, to the race courses are simple brillant! Their are so many great looking and fast cars to look at and by it should be considered a crime! Not only is this game fun, challenging, and entertaining, but it is also very realistic and at times you become so infatuated with the game that you feel as though you are really driving the cars.
It also very affordable now since it has been out for a while now and it is, in my opinion one of the best games over all for the amount of money which you spend to purchase it! Well, anyway I hope you decide to buy this game!

How do you describe greatness? That is the greatness of GT2. This game is better than the original (even if the licence is easy) but the game has everything I wanted from the first and more. The graphics are better, the computer is tougher, and there is a broader selection of vehicle makes and models. My favorite is the Special NSX and the PUMA 3000GT. All you could want is in this game including endurance and rally racing. If anyone has a PS this is the first and only game they need. It is the king of all games.

I was very pleased with the sequel to GT and I loved the graphics and details to death. The controls are tight, loose, and comfortable and each car handles realisticly. The music isn't neccesarily my type, but the jazz music is ok. This game is for sure a classic in my eyes and it stands higher than GT3 in popularity.
The UPS:
Lots of fast, pretty, and rugged rally cars to choose from
A whole lot of fun courses
Sim mode is better than the first one
Arcade is more arcadish
Graphics of cars, course, and the banners are smooth and swift
The Downs:
Two player mode is too slow and boring
The close-ups on cars during a replay are very glitchy and cheap looking
Way too many useless cars(I can't figure which cars to buy sometimes)
The music is very sucky, but I do like the poppy jazz music
The Arcade is too hard
The pit stops can cause u to lose an endurance race
