i thought this fame was great. pretty good grpahics, yea there was sum unreal things but it was still kick < remove me > at $$!!! if u wanna know more about wat i think of da game u can im me. lilskaterkz. betta than da 1st cuz all the new stuff. but personally i think the best one was number 2!the reason i still gave it a 9 is dat its a pretty good game level wise and charchter wise. the create a skater thing id say is OK and make a level is awsum 2! and 4 ppl who dont have this game... pick it up man, it rox!!!my favorite part of the game is the level Skater's Island, cool pools and pipes. the pre - made parks are cool and my fav. of dem is picnic at the pool. well nice tellin' u bout da game, but i gotta get back 2 playing it! cya lata! A must buy for playstation two owners. I own the whole THPS trilogy and love every game. Neversoft is brilliant to have developed these games. Tony Hawk Pro Skater Games opened the door for other extreme games. Many complain that the levels aren't big enough or there's not enough to do. Not true. I feel that the replayability of this game is exceptional. Especially since the new hidden combo tricks. Also the levels are made better with moving people who will insult you or praise you. If you bust a trick in front of them you earn a spectator bonus. LA has an earthquake, suburbia has a haunted house, the cruise ship has beautiful women in thongs, and canada has a guy wizzing into the lake. How much better can it get. Plus the new revert feature allows you to manual out of a big vert trick. You have more power over the looks of your create-a-skater. Now you can create females, put sunglasses on, jewelry, select from about 30 hats, and your not limited to only four skaters. When you select your board you can a) once again change your wheel color and b) Select your griptape pattern. You no longer have to buy new tricks just earn new trick slots. In park editor there are all new pieces to trick off of like diving platforms and huge funboxes and there's new hazards like lava and water. I haven't got a modem yet but 2-player is tons of fun. You are now able to taunt other players as well. To those of you who aren't impressed I suggest geting counseling. And don't complain about no cheats cause this game dosen't need them. Plus the Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarding demo is fun. All-in-all this game just kicks. And the videos are spectacular!!!!!! The soundtrack has about 25 songs from groups like Alien Ant Farm and Del the Funky Homosapien. Go Buy This Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

tony hawk is like the best skatebaording game ever I think I know all the moves. elbow smash is a dumb move you won't land it I put a cheat to unlock everything. kids if you have a skateboard don't those fake tricks like aaaahhhh yeahhhhhh or kickflip superman.I is don't do that because if you do it you are going to feel pain.

THPS3 has its better and worse things. i like the specials better, and they have Bam. but they kicked Bob Burnquist, who is one of my favorites, so that wiped. i like THPS2's career mode better. earning money is more realistic-like. the decks on 2 are better also. but the levels on 3 fricking rip!!! they are way better! and they have more awesome logos for tshirts in create a skater. for anyone who listens to the music, its better on 2, tho 3 has a song by The Ramones (Blitzkrieg Bop). i was so bummed about the baords on 3. they only gave Elissa Steamer TSA and Etnies boards (same with a few others, only different brands). i havn't gotten and FMVs yet, so i can't say if they're better or worse. the custom skater boards really really suck. sorry i don't mean to be stuck on decks but they SUCK!!! the graphics are a little better though, and the sound is too. like it sounds real. its pretty ok. it plays the same as 2. well anyway i would only buy THPS3 if i could find it pretty cheap. otherwise its a bit of a rip off.

I love this game!!!! I've beaten it 4 times. After a while it got boring, then I decided to coplete all the goals to get secret charecters. I also heard of this cheat to get all the secret skaters, I HAVENT tried it yet but you type in FREAKSHOW.
P.S. THIS ONLY WORKS FOR GAME CUBE!

This game is the best game ever made. Mastering manual and the new feature "Revert" makes it better, i make tricks untill my fingers are tired once i get perfect balance. Seriously, buy it!

Ok, first of all this is the best one of them all so far, so all of you that say it sucks and it is too hard probably don't even skate. also the game cube and the psone versions both are much worse than the ps2 version. so if you played the ps2 version then you would prabably be surprised that it has much better graphics. all of you that are in it just to beat the game don't even understand what skateboarding is all about. It is about trying new stuff with the tricks you already have. this game has a lot more new tricks in it and I think that most of you don't even know who any of these skaters are. Also the kid that thinks bucky lasek is a street skater probably doesn't even know who he is. He is a vert skater so stop acting like you know everything about skateboarding, because you don't. so over all this is the best one yet, and all of you that think different should have a lot more respect for the game and the sk8ers.

this is one of the coolest game i have ever played..the players, the costumes,the graphic, the sounds the music, the skateboards, the places, the missions were all great and fun to play with i would definetly consider this game if you were gonna buy one... the fun factor is great until you beat the game..then you wouldnt wanna beat it again. the value of this game is about $20. the orginalty is one of the best things i like about this game... I havent played thps4 so i dont know which one is better but i like some of the places in the other thps. But most of the things in thps3 was great..!!! I would give it a 9 out of ten

I haven't played the PS2 version, but the PSX version of Tony Hawk 3 offers nothing new. Sure, there is a few new levels, but there is nothing new to make me sit down and play for hours. All you people who say that I probably don't even know how to play, you're wrong. I loved the second one, and clocked it with everyone. There is just nothing new here.

Tony Hawks pro skater 3 is the best game in the history of all the tony hawks games released! more better then tonys 2 and 1 the game features more realistict animations and graphics while the blood may offend some people in the game but hey thats what happens when u fall of a tall place i guess oh well thats life...now if only the had a code for broken bones mode where u could see which part of the body is injuerd or broken!

Hey, the games great and all if u havent played number 1 or 2, but when ur spending 60 dollars on a game, you expect something GOOD, NEW and IMPROVED. This game is just THPS2 with new levels and a couple of tweeks. The PS2 version is much better. Why couldnt they just put the PS1 version on 2 cds so they could put in more detail? This really isnt worth buying if u have already got number 1 or 2, but if u havent got them, get it. Also, i beat it in a day, which is just pathetic. Longetivity is about a 2/10, graphics were fairly good, 8/10 and gameplay is a 9/10. A great game, but leaves you wanting more... One more thing, why arent there any cheats? Once i beat the game i thought 'ok, now i need some cheats to make it even more fun' and there werent any. Or am i just not looking hard enough? I really dont care, like i dont care much for this game. Much better to get something like Music 2000 or Cool Boarders 4, or better yet, Go out and skate!-ed

I have been reading the reviews, I had the game the moment they took it out of the box at the electronics store, I was standing there while they were going through the games trying to find it for me. I had it opened before I was done paying for it and couldn't wait to get home. Everyone was expecting a whole new line up of tricks and skaters, the new manuals alone are awesome which were unheard of in the first two. The skaters bring a tradition to tbe game along with its superior game physics. They maybe unreal levels, but you can create realistic ones if you want. The levels are great and add variety to the possibility's. Maybe it has flaws, nothings perfect. But they took the best of one and two and added it that to something even better.

I found tony hawk 3 is fun and acdictive the only point it lost was some of the moves are tricky 2 land and there placed in a spot that they get used often I had so,much problems I only got 500 thousand point per run and in Tony Hawk 2 I get over 2 million the stars it gained was it's graphics,addictivness,and the move upgrades they made and the levels are a heck alot bigger than beffore.In short THPS3 IS THE GAME 4 ME.

I think that It is a great game but the studio didn't put all they could into it. I have seen the major differinces between thps3 for ps2 than in ps1 and I think that they spent too much of their time on that version then on this. It dosent have any secret areas that open up like in the ps2 version or half as good of graphics. The Grafic part is understandable but the hidden areas are not. They even had them in thps2 like the gym in the school. i think it is total bull**** that they could not of tryed just a little bit harder.and if you know how to nosegrind the tree in canada please email me.

this is to dan. first off, bucky lasek skates a lot more vert than street, and although he is decent at street, there are tons of kids that kill it at street skateing, and second off if it werent for tony hawk, i bet yer poser a** wouldnt be skateboarding. if you would stop listening to all the rumors that little kids say, and actually look at all the things tony has done for the industry you would realise that he is a good role model, and is as far from sold out as anybody is. tony hawk still pushes vert skating to the limits. all props to tony ,Justin

I don't see how you people could be so dissapointed. I mean how much more can you improve on such a good series of games. THPS2 was a GREAT game, its hard to make a GREAT game better. I am very pleased with THPS3. The levels are so much bigger and there's more to do.

This game is by far the siccest tony hawk game yet but it's a bit off. What's up w/chad muska not having any moves? He's by far one of the best street sk8ters and gets no respect in this game. And screw Steve Callabero who looks gay in this game. Bucky has to be my fave and that backpack adds to his attitude but he can't grind. Anyway this game's great and all but give muska some more choices.
