Mega Man X series going down the drain! |

This game (like X5) was a flop... I have to agree with
Maximum-Zero about the anime cut-scenes, they were one of the best parts of x4, and without those the story isn't as vivid as it could be. I also think that they are trailing off of the main idea set at the end of x3, that x must ultimately destroy zero to save mankind, which is what they show in more detail in x4: how zero went maverick when he was discovered and how both he and x worry about becoming maverick at the end of x4. And they enemies get weaker and weaker as you progress throught the game, although infinity minjion and high max were resonably challenging, every thing else was easy (even in extreme mode!!!).
If they could just bring back the anime cut scenes, make the bosses harder,quit going into misadventure plots,and maybe put it on a playstation 2 disc so they can't complain about data space, they might just be able to resurrect this awesome series.

This Game rocks being as X in the Dragon armor.Many of you people might refer this armor as the "ultimate armor" but I prefer Dragon cuz it makes him look like a dragon really so I don't care who says what-the Dragon armor rocks mate!!!Mostly I enjoyed X actually for the 1st time in the X games(unless u cheated on X3:P) actually USING A LIGHT SABRE!!! Yes the plasmatic sword has finally fallen in the hands of our favorite blue bomber hero!why didn't Capcom think of this before?The sad thing about the game is that it's only got 1 proper movie in it and that's about it.If only they put some movies in like from X4 this game would have had a better look while listening to the plot.nevertheless,the drawings looked cool as usual(what would you expect?It's Megaman isn't it?!!?!?) but come to think of it really the gameplay has taken ALOT OF STEROIDS and also the graphix have been PUMPED UP quite a bit.Zero's new slash looks cool...I did not like the idea of a "nightmare Zero".He was so called "hard".if you really want a challenge with him don't take any armors whatsoever.That's what I would do,but right now the hardest boss had to beshield shelldon.:Sman was he a bugger!!!

The only thing that annoys me is that it is too hard.
I've played all megaman games and i say that they are all easy except megaman x6..the boss in the secret lab is almost impossible so i gived up and i jumped on the game and threw it out the window

I was really dissapointed once again. I thought they could have done a lot better. Granted, some of the bosses were pretty tough, a lot of them were extremely easy. The best thing I like about it is Zero's new moves. That's about it as far as the game play goes. The thing I hate about it the worst though is they still have not brought back the anime fmv movies. To me, that seems pathetic and lazy. That's what I liked about X4. After they lost that, I think Mega Man took a big nose dive. I do have to say though that I like the story line. That was good. If only other aspects were just as good. Another thing that really bugged me was the shadow armor. I thought that it was useless except for the fact that you could walk on spikes. You can't even use the special weapons and that is what Mega Man is supposed to be about. I haven't obtained the blade armor so I can't really say anything about it yet. I won't be expecting much. Even if though, I have my opinion already set. I've been playing Mega Man for years and have got to say it's probably the worst one I've played yet. That and X5. I don't know why everyone is so hyped up about it, but if you ask me, they have totally ruined the Mega Man X series.

This is one of the best Mega Man games ever and it was a lot better then X5. The best part is the shadow armor. I just wish that you could collect the armor like in the first 4 X games and I got so sick of saving the hunters.

it was really good but it lacked some of the things i liked about x5 like a close up pic of the suits, the bike race, and how falcon was grounded by not being able to fly. the thing i like is x's sword, zero's new sword, and the end bosses looked cool(even if they where way to easy). So like it says i give it a 9 just shy of a 10 i would give to x3 and x5

Man this game is the best mega man game of all right now i havnt beaten it yet its pretty hard but mega man X3 was harder but i still say this is the best mega man game of all who ever says this game sucks then they dont knoe how to play hard games...

meha man x 6 is nice challenge to come my way. the graphics are amazing for 2-d,good storyline,nice designs for the bosses.I love the new armors,SHADOW armor is da best.The new nightmare system can be confusing. i had to play the museum level about 5 times over cuz whenever i died i had to deal with changes in the level. some of the armor parts are hidden illogicaly hard.i didnt like how capcom was to lazy to translate the japanese voice overs.i would recommend either till the price goes down to buy it or just rent it.

Hey! I would just like to say that Megaman X6 is pretty awesome.
I beat the game with X and Zero and there is a good challenge getting used to playing with Zero. I don't know if there is more than 2 endings,if there is..sweet..i get to play some more! The armors are good and the bosses were cool. Capcom should have made Dr.Isoc a boss and have FMV's like X4 which is another awesome game. That's all I have to say, L8R!!!!

This is a great game! The only flaw in this game is that it is too easy, easier than the most previous game, MegaManX5.But it's fun.It has a great storyline and the powers are more advanced than ever!This is a must play game!

Megaman X6 was good, albeit too easy. I enjoyed the gameplay, music and the new abilities, but disliked the lack of equipment. I don't know if it is the fact that I have the other 15 games backing me, but the bosses seem to be getting easier. However High Max was hard, and that was fun. All in all it was a very good game and I lok forward to X7!

This is one of the best Megaman games yet! I have yet to beat it. I am a die hard Megaman fan and love it. It has much harder gameplay, which makes the fun last longer. It's a shame you can only get 2 new armors and the one you start with is broken. But the Shadow armor looks awesome. That's all I can write now, cuz I gotta go play it!

This is a must buy!!!Its one of the best Mega Mans yet and the levels are set up great and colorful graphics and great weapons and different and very orginal!!Great sound and play control with alot of replay value and levels this is a must buy for the psx game console if you even have one!!

i was into this game so much that i played for three days straight and beat it on easy mode. if you get zero right away most of the bosses are a cinch if you have the right stuff especially with the continue function. i dont know if the new weapons compare with those of past games, especially with x3's weapons, but the new armors are really cool. i have yet to play with zeros black armor which ive heard looks pretty rad. you have to play through almost every level three or four times to actually get everything so theres a lot of playability and the stages have effects that change after you beat them, like rocks will fall or itll be really dark the next time through. and the non-traditional stages were cool too where you have to race through the stage to kill a giant robot thats shooting lasers at you the whole time, or kill a bunch of giant wheels that shoot green blobs at you.the only problems i have with this game is the really pansy sounding music with the japanese guy singing and all the characters talk in japanese. im sorry, but id like to understand what theyre saying with the use of badly translated subtitles. the voices were good though. and i STILL wish theyd bring back the password system so i wouldnt have to use up the space on my card. and hey capcom, i think its time for a new playable characer, another maverick hunter would be nice for x7!

This is the best Megaman X yet. It's much harder than the rest which is a plus because it lasts longer than the others. Don't expect to play for like 4 hours and you've already beaten it. Capcom has done a good job on pleasing the Megaman fans. Oh and by the way whoever gave this game a 1, I'm guessing you must suck at awesome games and you were looking to play some easy sports games. Who knows why you wouldn't like Megaman. Megaman is too awesome to pass up. I'm also guessing you must have the mind of a 5 year old even trying to give this awesome game a 1. Don't screw with us Megaman fans. Because you know what? Megaman RULES ALL!

I have all the megaman x's games and this one is the best one yet..The levels and new bosses are just out of this world.The graphics are extremly good considering its megaman.
