the graphics are bad but the story line is good it's fun but could have been beater....honstley I think it is a good game but not even close to the best game ever still I recomend buying this game if you happen to get a chance that is why I gave it 7 stars

This game always gives me an energize when the first time I bought it at my classmate last year. Someone says this game stinks, but their wrong. I found myself that this game is such a great. Not only the domain is so cool, but also all of the digimon here were so great, that why I always want to catch them, but I can,t catch them all. The graphics were not that nice, the sounds not that even good to hear, but it still have a good fun factor to enjoy with. Hey! Every one out there, have you tried to digivolved all of your digimons into mega form? I do. Like Omnimon, I-dramon, Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon, Machinedramon, Diaborimon but I already DNA digivolve it with another, Baihumon, Imperialdramon but i alraedy DNA digivolve it to, and the others were in Champion and Ultimate form (hek! hek!). It's hard to get all the items, important items, digimons, and what so ever in the first place, but as soon as you keep playing it, you'll never get bored. It's really fun of playing this specially when you have your digi-beetle and upgrading it. I really love this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is one of the best games on playstation 1 but there is only one little $#< remove me > at !ty thing about it terra domain has got 99 floors and when you get to the end there is terrebly strong digimon.Even i couldn't defeat him with my digimon and my digimon are :venom_vendemon(not vademon)virus,wargreymon vaccine and metalgarurumon but the digimon on the 99 floor is stil to strong + i don't now how to get omnimon because if i do metal garurumon with wargreymon dna digivolve there stands omnimon but i don't want to spend two mega's because they're level 34 and that is mega high if anyone knows another way to get omnimon please send me an e-mail

This is certainly the best game in the world! Something I do not like about this game is that when you DNA digivolve, you will have to train again from the start, which is very MA FUN! (Tiring) Take me for an example, I am now completing Mega Domain, Patch Domain and ? (I forgot) Every enemy I fight earns me from 100-400 Exp points. And my Digimon which are Seraphimon, Venom-Vandemon (not Vade) and Andromon. I only need to train my Andromon. However, if I were to train my other 2 Digimon, They need 5000+ Exp points to go to next level!

Digimon World 2 has poor graphics. The scenes are block like, the digimon when they move appear to be see through. There is no detailed graphics. I am very disappointed with the visual aspects of the game.The Sounds are repetative, they are utterely not pleasing to the ear. The game play is weak, only one digimon can attack at a time. In fact, when you fight only one player can attack, the others must stand a attention accepting the blows. There is no way to protect yourself!! And finally the fun factor is almost zero. After saying all this,
I believe this is a game for 12 and under. Only the younger ones would truely enjoy the game!!!

Personally this game is the best game ever. YA RIGHT!!!! This is the worst game I've ever played. The digivolution sucks. The digimon don't even digivolve to the right Champion, Ultimate, or Mega forms, at leats some of them. The battle mode stinks so bad i can barely stand it. The attacks are said in japanese , they take turns attacking, and they can't really do much anyway. There is so many items you need in this game, but they are always to expensive in BITS. Here is some advice for any future players: If you hate stupid games, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!!!!

ok i rate this 6 1/2 stars why? 1: sound very repetive 2: the battle mode is very dull taking turns attacking and why do they just stand there and get attacked cant they jumb outta the way! 3: all the attacks are shouted out in japanease 4: they spent to much time making digievoloution for everything and not spending enough time on the roleplay its kinda dumb doing the same exact thing. 5: i think digimon world1 is better the only bad part about that game is theres not as much digivolves. And thats why i rate digimon world2 6 1/2 stars worth getting: it depends what type of person u are.

This game is hot stuff! It has great graphics and cool scenery (sort of). It has a downfall though, It's like checkers almost in the domains because 1 person moves then the other. other wise this is a great game no doubt about it!

This game is for someone who likes to have fun and be in constant work this game goes on forever so you reall can't ever be bored it has constant work and has a perfect story line there is only one really bad point to this game and that is the sound all attacks are yelled out in japenesse and it is the same old music day in and day out don't get me wrong I would not trade this game for anything.

Digimon the TV show was wild! The game is harder than it seems on the TV show though. Get the strategy guide with complete walkthroughs for all of the Digi-Domains, secrets of DNA digivolving, lists of battle tactics and digi-items, and all sorts of things!

I totally just enjoyed this game from the first day it came out in stores everywhere.The graphics are as close to the movie as is Canada from the U. S. in distance apart(that is they are right next to each other).The sound is great to don't listen to what people say.the gameplay is awesome also I mean I logged in about 60 hours og playtime on this game.Can any other game get you so much play time and not even done (no lyi it's true I have 60:00:03 hours of play time.yes the game even keeps the seconds you've played for to give a try,you'll love it right away!

The game mainly comprises of the Digimon-Tamer relationship and how the two work together for the common goal, defending the city and being at the top of the heap. The graphics aren't that bad since they animate good and their actions can be reasonable enough. The only disadvantige in the graphics are the shadows since all the shadows are black circles! Sound is awesome. Good tune and it's really compatible to the action, especially in the boss battles. But you hear the same sound over and over again. Almost never somthing new. The gameplay on the other hand is much better than the original digimon 1. The gameplay is very simple and has lots of options. Digivolving is now easier and with the new DNA Digivolving, it boosts its popularity among the fans. :)

Digimon world 2, was a fun game. Just took a loooong time to raise them. I hated this it was terrible how long it took. Another bad thing was the common battle music. It got extremely annoying in a few seconds. Unlike games like Paper Mario or Final Fantasy that had good music that didn't annoy you in a good second. The best music in the game was the boss music and any other music besides the battle music. I like the way dna digivolving was though, the digimon would become something new and more powerful by dna digivolving a few times. Plus the story made sense and the graphics weren't so bad. Execept the shadows. Plus the domains were pretty barren. Also I didn't like that little tank\car thing. Overall, I think this was a pretty good game. The bad things weren't even that bad, execept the domains.

This game is one of the best RPG game (well, Final Fantasy IX is better). If you only have champion and rookie digimon, go to Boot Domain to fight the digimon there (there is only one digimon). You will get 39 EXP. Only fight the digimon if you have a champion digimon, or you will lose the battle. You can easily level up your rookie digimon this way. There is lot of reason why Final Fantasy IX is better. You can see lot of FMV (there is no FMV in digimon world two), you can ride air ship and chocobo. You also can use special attack such as Steal, Skill, Summon, White Magic, Black Magic, Sword Skill, Sword Magic, Jump, Dragon, Eat, Blue Magic, Flair And Throw. Also, you can dig with your chocobo. Best of all, this game is a game of challage. Not like digimon world two, the mega digimon is very easy to beat.

I think that this game is pretty cool,but the battle isn't even half as good as Digimon World 1 because in Digimon World 2 The Battle Is Never Any Different exept for the different enemys,while in Digimon World 1,the Scenery was much different ever time,and your digimon would run around and attack with different attacks,similar to the show..I like the fact that there are more digimon to choose from at the beginning and you can get many different kinds throughout the game by giving them presents and things like that.The graphics are pretty good,but they could be better.I like the fact that you don't have to worry about taking your digimon to the bathroom at all.The Sound Is The Same in most domains and in all battles other than boss battles,so there is not much to brag about.Its Pretty original,but not in the best way.I like the fact that you get to go to mega though.I just wish they had Terriermon,Guilmon,And renamon.I'm Giving This A Seven.

So, finally digimon 2 has popped up from nowhere. Is it any better? Well, not much. Even though it has improved microscopically in some factors, D2 still isn't as good as a fan would like to be. It's not a BAD game, though, it's very enjoyable even though you may not be that big a digi-maniac. Well, read on and get waht I mean!
Graphics: 7
The digimon look a bit more polished up and cool, that's for sure. But the background, God, the background! Play all you like to the end of the game, but all you ever play in is some maze always adding a floor or two. Just to take a break, you visit a colourful, machine-riddled city. As the character's faces are too messed-up to recognise, a kind of window pops up with your face magnified when chatting. It should not bother you at first, but after a while you really get thoughtful. Is it any worth gettin thru a game just to see the same old fiddly background over and over? =( In the first game, you progressed through many different areas in the game, going back to find new stuff. There were forests,jungles, mounts, wastelands and canyons, but no, in this dump you just move in boring mazes. Bomberman world or pac-man anyone?
Sound: 7:
Not bad. For the first day of play that is! Every fight it's the same old tune, which keeps repeating and repeating! Yes, there are some differences as you progress thru domains, but every fight you get the same music. Snoresville!
This time around the digimon speak when attacking; most of them in japanese! The only cool music you ever get is the boss music! That's the style!
Control: 7
O dear. There's a tough digimon chasing me. I can't fight, I'm not so powerful yet. Damn, will this bug thing i'm driving go a bit faster. Drat, he's got me. game Over. Right, the thing is, you drive a crappy bug-like car which moves a step per second. If there's a digimon nearby, you move in turns. This usually ends up in you getting trapped and waste lots of time fighting. During battles, digimon wait about 3 seconds before attacking, and what happens is always the same. You attack, or miss. If you hit. The enmy falls. It's his turn. 3 more seconds. He attacks. You fall down. And it's your turn. And so on. Also, learning techniques is very slow, as you must keep DNA digivolving. In the first game, the characters moved quite quickly, and fought much better in a brill battling mode. You learnt techniques by beating digimon and learning from them. Not this time! Also, when in cities you character moves very slowly. Like a turtle.
Fun Factor/ Lifespan: 7.
Surprisingly, it still is quite fun collecting digimon and training them. Then you can battle it out with your friends. But hold, what kind of battel mode is this? You keep bashing a button so as to determine attacks. Does it get any worse. Luckily it isn't THAT bad in one-player mode. In the first game, the battel mode was a different game in itself. You amde tournaments and fought in brill arenas. It was as great as any beat em' up. The only thing better in the one-palyer mode is that you don't still feed them, train them (a bit boring) and potty train(!) them, and they don't die even if they are knocked out. That was the vast improvement. That said, it should last quite long if you're a digifan.
Overall: 7
With a seven in all factors, as I see it, D2 is beaten fair and square by the first installment. By the next time there'll be a new game (wouldn't it be great to have a digimon action game?!!) other than the card-playing one, the makers should have boosted it up.

digimon world 2 was the frist game i got for my playstation.i play it alot each day, and now im on my mark to make my digimon digivole.
the sound is great, the digimon say there attacks. the boss music is WICKED!
the gift-giving feature for a digi catch is fun, where you can buy toys and stuff for catching digimon.
i say its one of the best RPG games for PSone.
