Digimon World 2 is the best rpg game ever made (except for rpg games made by 'square')
i used to play rpg games forever but then got sick of them and never played another rpg again for about a year and now this game pops up and its got me glued to the screen 24/7. At the start of the game it sounds way complicated and you lose interest fast but once you get into the game, everything starts to make sense and all fits into place.
graphics:10/10 - I was quite impressed with the graphics in DW2, it has nice smooth edges and never clips (graphics dont dissappear).
sound: 5/10 - when digimon do there attacks, they say the move they do like in the cartoon. that is definately a plus for the game. but some of the music can get a bit annoying sometimes
fun factor: 10/10 - this game will keep you playing for months
learning curve: it will take about 1 hour to take in absolutely everything about this game

This Digimon game is the best out of all the Digimon games. The very first time I played it I got hooked from the start.
Graphics:10/10-I think the graphics are simple and good.
Digimon:10/10-I watched some of the new shows and saw new digimon but in the game there were so many new digimon I did not know about.
Sound:5/10-At first the music is cool but after hearing the same thing for a while it gets boring but the boss music stays cool.
Enviroment:6/10-The domains are sometimes like mazes and the domes are a little cool looking besides that the domains and domes get alittle boring.
Digivolution:9/10-When you see the digimon digivoling it looks cool and it s very simple to gain levels until your digimon gets to the level where it needs 99999999 exp I have no clue what to do then.
Fun Factor:10/10-the game never runs out of things for you to do.
Overall:10/10.
Pokemon is about to die.

Digimon World 2 is'nt just a great game it is better than Digimon World 1 but this time is RPG and you will need to train harder than ever to be the best guard tamer to protect Digital City from the evil plans of wild digimons or the evil senister Bloods Knights. You will be entering domains, capturing digimons with toys, defeting boss digimon and training your digimons without stoping until they reach level 99, but to get that far they have to pass throught digivolution and DNA digivolution.You will be traveling in a a tank called Digibettle and with your paterns digimons that going to fight for peace.When your digimon reach level 11 they can digivolve to champion level and they learn techniques at level 12.They would digivolve until they reach Mega level. And if a digimon reach a level and won't go any level up, is something you most discover to get a level more.

This game is better than 1(as in I know I have it) because there are longer fight sequences you can see what your fighting and get prepared for so that you won`t get beaten down right around the corner. You can even help you're partner digimon while before you are fighting before you're turn instead of while the digimon is getting killed. The graphics have improved about this much <----------------------->. Even the guide is better because in this one it gives you detail about what you're going into and how to do it. It shows what you must do to digivolve and what you digivolve into. It shows you all the items places what those places do and how much everything costs to get it. All in All I think this game is the best I've ever played and how it isn't as long and over going on the same as the poke'mon games.

This game is one of the best RPG game (well, Final Fantasy IX is better). If you only have champion and rookie digimon, go to Boot Domain to fight the digimon there (there is only one digimon). You will get 39 EXP. Only fight the digimon if you have a champion digimon, or you will lose the battle. You can easily level up your rookie digimon this way. There is lot of reason why Final Fantasy IX is better. You can see lot of FMV (there is no FMV in digimon world two), you can ride air ship and chocobo. You also can use special attack such as Steal, Skill, Summon, White Magic, Black Magic, Sword Skill, Sword Magic, Jump, Dragon, Eat, Blue Magic, Flair And Throw. Also, you can dig with your chocobo. Best of all, this game is a game of challage. Not like digimon world two, the mega digimon is very easy to beat.

Digimon world 2, was a fun game. Just took a loooong time to raise them. I hated this it was terrible how long it took. Another bad thing was the common battle music. It got extremely annoying in a few seconds. Unlike games like Paper Mario or Final Fantasy that had good music that didn't annoy you in a good second. The best music in the game was the boss music and any other music besides the battle music. I like the way dna digivolving was though, the digimon would become something new and more powerful by dna digivolving a few times. Plus the story made sense and the graphics weren't so bad. Execept the shadows. Plus the domains were pretty barren. Also I didn't like that little tank\car thing. Overall, I think this was a pretty good game. The bad things weren't even that bad, execept the domains.

Everything is so cool in this game! I hate the normal battle music in this game! It's boring and my mom hates it to. The best battle music is the boss music! The thing i hate about this game is that your digimon gets stuck, mostly after 13 and 14 there level says 99999999!! That's so anoying! Some people say that your DP has to be high enough to not say 9999999. How do you make your DP higher?? I tryed battles and it didn't work. HOW?!
Can someone please tell me how to do it? If someone does,(Which most people know how to do it) please e-mail me at iluvcrying< remove me > at yahoo.com or NNV585< remove me > at aol and ask for JJ. PLEASE! THANK YOU!(If you are going to do it!) DO you have to use the DNA chip that Leomon gives you in the tornorment?? Does that make your DP go up?? I havent tryed it yet. DIGIMON WORLD 2 IS THE BEST you can have a lot of digimon and even battle against your friends (I love kicking my friends but!)but maybe it gets boring quite a lot when you have to DNA digivole to get DP but I serpose you have to DNA to get stronger (when one of my digimon had 0 DP at level 1 ,it had about 30 attack but when it had 5 dp at lv 1 it had about 60 attack plus it had more HP , MP,DEF and Speed)
The music in the game is cool(exept the boring old battle music,GOD, I WISH YOU COULD JUST CHANGE IT)apart from that everything is good expeially the boss music which is way fun to listen to.if your in the UK it may be extreamly rare but in other parts of the world it may be quite common but still try and get hold of this.
GET THIS GAME COZ ITS AMAZING EXPEICALLY IF YOU ARE AN RPG FAN!

well I give bandi a thumbs up for the digimon world games. The programers did a good job. I would like to join up and help improve a digimon rpg game with the new chartoon characters evolution digimons. They are awlsome, but their is another out called digimon world 4 for xbox,ps2,game cube. I just bought the copy of the game july 1st 2005 at wal-mart for $29.96. I also like when you can dna the characters to different digimons also. It is pretty cool. The programers did a good job on detailing the whole game. I give them a thumbs up. And keep up with the good work on creatting beeter and improved digimon games. Like trying to keep up with the animie(cartoons).
Well they did make a digimon world 3 and I had a copy of that one. But digimon world 4 just now came out in the stores. :)

I'm well known for getting bored with games easily and so is my brother, but this game is brilliant! I can't fault it. Okay, so I might not be the best at vidio games, but even if you are absolutely 100% rubbish at this game, basically, I doubt you'd care. It's the sort of game that you want to spend ages on. You want to be the best on it..... there's a point...... I want to be the best on it..... 0_o. Erm.... ahem..... Anyway.... With a wide range of digimon, locations and most importantly of all, bad guys, this game offers hours of entertainment bound to keep you glued to you're TV screens! Definately the best of the Digimon games, I'd recomend it to anyone of all ages. A MUST BUY game!

The game mainly comprises of the Digimon-Tamer relationship and how the two work together for the common goal, defending the city and being at the top of the heap. The graphics aren't that bad since they animate good and their actions can be reasonable enough. The only disadvantige in the graphics are the shadows since all the shadows are black circles! Sound is awesome. Good tune and it's really compatible to the action, especially in the boss battles. But you hear the same sound over and over again. Almost never somthing new. The gameplay on the other hand is much better than the original digimon 1. The gameplay is very simple and has lots of options. Digivolving is now easier and with the new DNA Digivolving, it boosts its popularity among the fans. :)

What I like best about this game is the fact you can get practically ANY Digimon YOU want, instead of 'What They Give You' kinda deal. There are over 250 Digimon you can own, therefor creating your own unique and original teams of favorites! The battling is pretty cool, the only thing that stinks is the music gets anoying after and training may take hours and hours if you want to get a Rookie all the way yo Mega form. Background info on which Digimon evolve into others is a must. If you play the card game it will make a little more sense with the types they digivolve into, etc...
My team consists of Wargreymon, Puppetmon, and Imperialdramon.
Others I own : MetalGarurumon, MetlaSeadramon, Phoenixmon, Gryphonmon, Piedmon, Myotismon, and H-Kabuterrimon.

There are some things I don't like about this game
you can't just train much levels up unless your digimon is
1000 times dna digivolved.
your digimon don't walk (like digimon world 1)
But the graphics are great
And its funny how the digimon say theyre attacks
What I like the most of this game is that your digimon don't
annoy you and don't die unless you lost a battle
The sound is somethimes boring
But I tink that the game is twice as good as part 1
And the training to digivolution is very easy
But my question is does any one knows how to get some cool digimon I mean i already saw metalgreymon but I want to train kabutairimon and al those other digimon from the t.v. so if any body can help me out say it in your preview please and thanks.

This game is so incredibally fun. I like it because its fun ahd lengthy. There are so many digimon in this game. You have a digi-beetle and you can catch almost any digimon in the game or from theshow except imperialdramon, flamdramon, veemon, and raidramon. Although u cant catch them, you can still get them. There s DNA Digivolving and regular digivolving. Th battles are cool and there are so many domains and bosses. There is also so many diffrent attacks. Such attacks are: Terra Force - WarGreymon, Trancend Sword - Omnimon, Freeze Breath - MetalGarurumon, and also Fist Of Fate - Angemon. This game is sooo much fun that i fell it deserves a rating of 500 stars but it can only get 10. This game rocks

I already completed digimon world 2.I like this game because of the digimon. My digimon are:(MEGA)VenomMyotismon, Seraphimon, Imperialdramon, Omnimon,S-Mammothmon and Kimeramon. Kimeramon is a Mega Data digimon(ULTIMATE)Megaseadramon, SkullGreymon and Monzaemon. I do not have any champion and rookie level digimon. Even my neighbour who bought this game earlier can't overtake me. I can tell u that even u beat Mega, Patch,Data and Soft domain u still need to beat Bug,Ram and Rom domain. There are still CORE TOWER and THE KERNEL ZONE and it is known as the CHAOS TOWER.In the kernel zone/chaos tower(LAST MISSION)the boss is GAIA, it is easy to be deafeated if your party is all mega level.

its so hard and well made and long so i love it the best! i played it when i was 12 year went until master rank and domain i cant remember and lost cd searched for it around 3 years ":) and played again currently took me 2 months but it seems left to me beat up chaos tower :) well i got a lot of mega digimons at 50+ level half of them been DNA digivolved 5-6 times well good luck to me ... and to other people who havent played it yet you got to play it or i go to your home and kill you in your dreams!!! :D But remember you have to put a lot effort and time into it!!!! oh and yeah you shouldnt be dumbass if you wanna play it game is for smart :) kinda kidding/// cheers ;)

Its hard to train and when the digimon attacks it takes a long time.And it needs DP to digivolve to a good digimon its ok that it needs DP but sometimes (let say about wizardmon that i trade from digimon center)when it comes to a certain level it comes to 9999999 expand we gonna go DNA ,after DNA it turn back to a rookie and it is level 1.I think bandai should make it easier to train .i waste lots of lots of time training and it comes again to 99999999 exp and when it comes near to 20+ it is extremly hard to train it huh wat a game that waste lots of time!!!its good but hard training and sometimes in some domains it has lots of lots of traps huh again wat a game!!!!

Digimon World 2 has poor graphics. The scenes are block like, the digimon when they move appear to be see through. There is no detailed graphics. I am very disappointed with the visual aspects of the game.The Sounds are repetative, they are utterely not pleasing to the ear. The game play is weak, only one digimon can attack at a time. In fact, when you fight only one player can attack, the others must stand a attention accepting the blows. There is no way to protect yourself!! And finally the fun factor is almost zero. After saying all this,
I believe this is a game for 12 and under. Only the younger ones would truely enjoy the game!!!

This game is one of the best games on playstation 1 but there is only one little $#< remove me > at !ty thing about it terra domain has got 99 floors and when you get to the end there is terrebly strong digimon.Even i couldn't defeat him with my digimon and my digimon are :venom_vendemon(not vademon)virus,wargreymon vaccine and metalgarurumon but the digimon on the 99 floor is stil to strong + i don't now how to get omnimon because if i do metal garurumon with wargreymon dna digivolve there stands omnimon but i don't want to spend two mega's because they're level 34 and that is mega high if anyone knows another way to get omnimon please send me an e-mail

This Game Rules. It is really hard and really fun. I have had it for 1 and a half years but i didnt play it for a year cause i lost it. I still havent beaten the game cause its really challenging. and to all the losers who use game shark, dont be gay. Beat it yourself. This game is incredibe. So many digimon are in it. Some of them are - Myotismon, Angemon, WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, OmniMon, and so much more. There is so much to do in this gamelike digivolving and dna digivolving and DNA Digivolving. This game is the greatest game for ps. If u have it, u know what im talking abot, and if u dont, ur missing out.
