It gets hairier in a Harrier! | | Björn Andreasson from Gothenburg Sweden says (22/Sep/2001): | This i a flight combat simulator dedicated to the Harrier. The Harrier is known as one of few aircraft that can hover. In this game, so can you. But only for a few seconds before you realise that you are a sitting duck about to get blasted out of the sky. This game is hard, and practice doesn´t make perfect. As usual in wargames you are vastly outnumbered. Ammo is limited, which i per se appreciate as a realistic approach. Your task however is far less realistic. The frustration really makes you feel like crushing the disc with a hammer. The entire game takes place around Hawaii, which is depicted as a brownish wasteland. Quite ugly graphics. The plane feels awkward to handle and your range of vision is short. The controls can´t be configured to fit the style of the Ace Combat series. You are better off without this game.
