A Bit Too Easy |
| Adam Hayden from Braintree Essex England says (14/Aug/2003): |
Well i think its a great game but a bit too easy apart from the last objective which was extremely hard compared to the rest of the game.I also like the way you get to control other characters apart from ginger especially when you can swap between the rats that parts good!

wonderful game and Graphics |
| Richard (aka "Zeke") from Raymond Ohio USA says (18/Jan/2003): |
Chicken Run is a Wonderful game! I particulary enjoyed trying to avoid the guard dogs just for the fun of doing that(its not that easy at times either:0)) the scene with the chickens dressed up as Mrs. Tweedy was fun to do, the look on the dogs faces was comical. "It may take some doing to figure out things but once you get that your good to go and can just have fun with everything. "oh a tip on how to get the tennis racket from the dog, get the bone First from across the yard, then go and hide in his "doghouse" untill he goes back to sleep and his pal goes away again, then lean down and Swipe/swap (trading the bone for the racket) hide agin till his pal leaves and he sleeps again then dash off with you prize! but do play this game, its fun:0)

Great Game! |
| Marianne from Pinon Hills, California, USA says (29/Jan/2001): |
I love this game!! I can't seem to get those stupid fireworks... And those dumb dogs scared the CRAP out of me!! Anyway, I thought the movie was a stroke of genius, and the game was no less. I hope they come up with a sequel real soon, and ditto for the game.
Although, I HATE the voice actor who overwrote Mel Gibson's voice... Ugh... He sounded like Barney Gumble! No Joke! After much yelling and screaming, I got over it. I think... I watched the credits and cheered when I actually saw two people from the movie who WERE in the game. Benjamin Withrow and Lynn Ferguson (I think that's how you spell it...)

Challenging But Fun! |
| Alison from washington, USA says (4/Jan/2001): |
I recieved this game for Christmas and when I first tryed it, it seemed hard. Although it did take me awhile to understand how the game worked, I became obsessed. This game is lots of fun. I don't really like how you get something taken away when you get caught, but after all it does add some challenge to the game. The graphics are amazing in this game. A lot of other games have that cartoonish type look but this one was actually like watching the movie again. I also like this game because I can actually beat it. In all my other games I am not even close to beating the game. I like to know that all my time playing has added up to something. It was also neat that there aren't any lives. You just kind of start from where you were before, which is actually a great idea because I often get very frustrated when I have to keep starting over because I lost all my lives. All in all I think this game is a great game!

Chicken Run...poultry in the move |
| Mike from UK, Scotland says (1/Jan/2001): |
The chicken run is a simply amazing game, its not too easy and not too hard. Its chalenging and keeps you working for ages, you must have pateince though. Average camera control here, but better than the likes of the early Tomb Raiders. The games graphics are surprisingly good and the movement is swift and has good control most of the time. This is a very unique game, failing to fall into the likes of most other move liscened games which are usually poor games. For example, Jurassic Park. I hope to see a sequel to this wonderful game

Easy for kids !!! |
| james from Norfolk,England says (17/Dec/2000): |
We bought Chicken Run for our 9 year old son, expecting him to still be playing it well after Christmas. No such luck, he found it extremely easy to play apart from one level, the starting the engine one. Although after 11 attempts and much shouting at the screen he completed it. All 24 sub games finished in 2 days.

Obsession Kicks In... |
| sara from Lancashire , England says (8/Dec/2000): |
I found chicken run to be extemly difficult and although I was informed this was a child's game. Even at 19 I could not work some things out.
I found the camera angles very hard to work with as you could not see when a dog was coming to get you. Also, I hated when you lost an item when you were caught and that you had to keep returning to hut number 1 just so you could save your game.
I did though become obsessed with the game and was determined to carry on with it until i complete it

One Rotten Egg |
| Lindsey Freeman from Santa Cruz Ca USA says (4/Dec/2000): |
The movie "Chicken Run" was a great movie, the PlayStation game though looks like it didn't even get done. The control is good, and I like when you get to control the pack rats, and the extra goodies. Sadly, the games camera view is bad and you don't get to control the turning of it very much(bad when your trying to see when the baddies are going to make a move), and the annoying way of when your caught you lose something useful your carrying(if you have anything), and how the game having only three major levels. What really got to me was the last two things in the last level(The Engine starting up, and wing building), those two expected for me to do three things at once, like oil and pedal the engine while keeping Rocky happy by blowing bubbles into his stupid bubble bath, and in the wings building I was asked to control the poles, fabric, and stitching at one, both buildings at the same time limit of sixty seconds. My fingers were pounding!!! In my asking, steer way clear of this game, its not like the movie.
