Alright, I'm normally an RPG/Survival Horror gamer, but I used to be all about these platformer games. I would start with Croc, and then Crash Bandicoot, and eventually found my way into this beloved series. I've been a fan ever since...well...until the PS2 one came out. Anyways, this is the best Spyro game ever made. The graphics are vivid and colorful for the PS1, which is great considering its a kid's game. I caught myself laughing at certain intervals, which is something I don't often do "unless you count Donald Duck saying Sephiroth in KHII". The challenges...are...well...challenging at best. They can really keep you on your toes, and each level is unique in its own fashion. If you love a good platformer or just want a nice, productive way to waste your time then I would suggest trying this out.

I give this game an all time high rating! I absolutely love Spyro and was estatic to learn a another game had been released. The game was as exiting and colorful as ever. I was so thrilled to see that Hunter had returned to be in this game and we also got to see Elora at the end. I thought the characters were a real tribute too the second game. The new characters were just as awesome! I thought that Bianca was a great addition to the game. The game had new surprises as well as old ones. It was great how they used the old ideas from the previous games and refreshed them to use in the new game. Once I got Spyro:Year of the Dragon, I could not stop playing it. If you love colorful games with goofy and cute characters and if you absolutely love Spyro, this is your game!

Oh yeah, it's the best out of all the Spyros! I just got the game about 3 days ago and already I beet the boss! (I've rented and played it before) Shure I have trouble but it's fun. Curently in the game, I'm trying to get all the eggs and gems (gems are harder then eggs). graphics: Holly they are good! Especially the under water scenery, chrystal level, and you can't for get the intense battles. SOUND: In a way, it;s like saround sound to me. ^_^ Voices are good, expreive, especialy agent 9 he;s hyper. I recomend it to you! I especially like the new and old charaters. 1 of my favorite parts is after the battle with the queen you get to charge money bags and get all your money back. ALSO PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY WAYS TO HELP ME PASS THE GAME! THNX!

Well, I have to say, Spyro 2 didn't really have me hooked, but one day I saw the cute cover of Spyro 3 and I was like, hmm, yeah let's get it. I have never regretted it, and since I got it, it hasn't come out of the machine. You can go as heaps of characters in this game, Spyro the cute purple dragon, Sparx, Spyro's best friend, Hunter, the 'pussy cat' who hates water, (In the speedway levels after you have beaten the other two things) Sheila the Aussie kangaroo, Sgt Byrd the little penguin with a huge attitude, Bentley who is so not a dimwitted furball and Agent 9 who is kinda cute! Just joking! :) Anyway this is da best game for beginners on Spyro, though experience does help!

I reckon this is the best Spyro game out of all the ones I've played! I mean, I've only played Spyro 2, Spyro 3 and halfway through Spyro 4 and 2 is the best. You can change his colour and everything. It ROX!!!!!!! The skateboard trix r totally mad and being able to b other characters is awesome! It is a good length, not 2 short or not 2 long. My most favouritest level is the Seashell Shore one. Them seals r so cute. There is absolutely nothing no one can h8 about THIS Spyro game! It is the best Spyro game yet. I luv it! My favourite other character is Sheila the kangaroo, she is soooooooooo mad!!! No other Spyro game I think is better. It doesn't get hotter than this!!!!!

Spyro The Dragon: Year of The Dragon..I was never informed of this game coming out I just happen to go to Circut City and it was on sale for $19.99 well, I bought it and for the money it's really worth it!, it might be even cheaper by now I've had it for about 2 weeks now and haven't beat it yet! but im not playing it 24/7 either.. But Spyro's graphics, even on his first adventure were remarkablely superior. The fun factor of this game is a 8.0-8.5, incredible in-between movies, time trials, races, and hey you even can get on a Skateboard!, how cool is that!?!?!?! Originality: couldn't get anymore Orginal ;] Overall: go buy it!, its a must have for your collection!!!

He's mean,he's purple,and he's back, in the best video game EVER!Who wouldn't like a purple dragon who saves the day?Well if you do like spyro the dragon, then you just gotta see who spyro is face to face in this game!!Personally,I just adore the spyro games.I've beaten this game over and over again,and it seems to get beter every time I play it.I've also beaten all the games,but this one,tops it off.It's a game not to miss.The graphics are awesome,the sound is great and the adventure is WILD!!So go buy this game now! What are you waiting for?It's a great game that comes.......once in a life time!!!But just remember,mess with this dragon,and feel the BURN!!!!!!!!

I love this game!!! It is the best spyro game yet!! I love all the characters! I also love the music, graphics, new realms, and worlds! I got this game for my birthday. As soon as I startd playing this game I immedietly fell in love with this game. I also like the challeges it has. My favorite one was the second skateboard park. It was thrilling!! I also like the new moves!
Ice breath, in Evening Lake. I also love the baby dragons! They are so cute!!!! I would definatly reccomend this game to EVERYONE!!!!! This game is so cool! Oh yeah, My favorite world is Icy Peak I like the ice skating show. People everywhere! Buy this game! You don't know what you are missing!

this game totally rocks anyone who is a fan of spyro who hasnt yet got this game then you should really get it!! you can show moneybags who's boss for sure!! The graphics aren't the best you can get on playstation but they are still good. It takes quite a while to complete because when you have got all the eggs and jewels from each of the worlds and have comleted it 100%, you then have to do the bonus world where u have to cary on completing it past 100%. There are lots of fun twists on this quirky game, its so much fun.
I still cant do the championship round of the demolition hovercraft area on Haunted Tomb in Midnight Mountain World!!! its so damn hard!!

This game is the best game that I had ever played in my whole life.The adventures of this game is really cool and tricky a little.Some of them are hard too.None other game I have played was as good as this.In other games I have played they write they never talk.I have games and these are there names:Crash Bash,Crash Bandicoot Collection,Crash Team Racing,Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,X-Men Mutant Academy 2,Tekken 3,Monsters Incouparation,Uprising X,Driver,Driver 2,Mafia,Max Payne,Fifa 97,Fifa 98,Fifa 2000,Fifa 2001,Fifa 2002,Fifa 2003,I have played 3 Age of Empire games,Cesar,Rise of Nation but Spyro Year of the dragon is better than all of them.

i think that spyro year of the dragon rocks!!! i have beaten the boss already but i still have not beaten the bonus level.this game has very good graphics and excellent sound.i think that my favorite character other than spyro is bentley the yeti.one of my favorite level is the one where you have to race rhynocs and then race hunter on a skateboard.another reason why i like the game so much is because the girl witch tries to help you out towards the end.at first when I faced the boss i just kept dodging and shooting her the weapon that i killed her with is a hoverboard thing that shoots fireballs that i think is the coolest part of the whole game

This game rules, even if it is a bit hard, it's good when you get going. The scateboard park is wicked! I's also my favorite part of Spyro 3: Year of the dragon! It's probably Spy's best ever! Insominac must be thrilled! Every other game in the world is like an teeny, tiny, itty, bitty speck of dust compaired to this almighty leader. You get to play as different people. Those are Spyro the Dragon, Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt Byrd the Penguin, Bently the Yeti and Agent 9 the Monkey. There's Hunter and Moneybags. Also, Bianca comes to the good side. The bosses you face are Buzz, Spike, Scorch and the Sorceress. I like it, but THE question is, will you?

this has to be the best playstation game ever created. You can play as four diffrent characters, and as if that weren't enough, you ca control diffrent vehicles like UFO's and submerines and hovercraft too! I could play this game forever and not get bored! the graphics are phenominal and the music is the best! But the only downfall of this game is that cheatcodes do not work! Maybe it's because my additionof this game is the greatest hits version I don't know! but still, this is the best of Insomniac Games. Thank you Insomniac!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

I love this game, sure some things are diffucult but thats what makes it fun. I think it isnt as hard as Spryo 2: Riptos Rage though. I beat the sorceress and im in the super bonus world, right now im stuck on a race, and im also getting the skill points (some of those are hard). The addition of new playable charatcers (Shiela, Bently, Agent 9, and Sgt. Byrd) and the new skatboarding, boxing, submarine shooting makes it great. I love hunters challenges in the speedways (after i find him) and if anyone has questions or need help just email me. Overall i think Spyro 3: Year of The Dragon is the best game ive played

On Christmas day I opened it and 5 minutes later I was already playing it. The graphics were great and the music ? It was so much better then the other Spyro Games. Also Spyro was more $#< remove me > at !y and cool. He had a sense of humour and he was so cute. The sorceress? she was ugly man did she ever take a bath? sparx was animated this time and Gameplay was much easier. The characters Sheila, Agent 9, Bently and Sgt Bird made the game more interesting and with the exception of Bentley easier to play. Spyro Year of the Dragon is my favourite game and I can't wait till the sequel which I think is called Spyro season of Ice

I am a major spyro fan. When i saw this game i had to have it. Currently i am in the final world, before the final boss. The levels are so much larger than my other versions. I love the underwater scenes and swimming is so entertaining. You should try the speedways. THey seem impossible at first but then they get easier as you practice. I do not like the Sparx worlds. They are a disapointment and are not well explained. I find them difficult to play, for there is too many enemies ganging up on you at once. But overall,Spyro, Year of the Dragon, is a must-see-to-believe game.

Well, I've finally finished Spyro 3, and this is my absoloute favorite Spyro game!! I LOVE the new worlds, and that you don't have to pay Moneybags to learn to swim underwater, headbash, and climb. Bianca is cool, and the puzzles are between easy and difficult. A very nice touch were the eggs. When the dragons hatch, they all do something different. My favorite part were the other characters to play. Sheila the kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd, Bently the yeti, and Agent 9 the monkey. (Sheila's my fav.) BUY THIS GAME!!!! don't just rent it, 'cause you'll hate to have to return it.
