Simply the best game on Spyro series |

The best game of spyro series is simply Year of the dragon.
why?
-best graphics (just see the enemies blowing transformed into fireworks)
-best sound (the voices are really expresive)
-best gameplay (four new characters: Sheila the kangaroo, Sgt byrd, Bentley the yeti, Agent 9 the monkey, plus bonus levels starring sparx!!!!with tons of powerups. Even Hunter makes aparition in some parts)Many people say the story is simple, and it is it, but it has a certain something that makes you wanting to know what is next.(I personally liked the introduction of Bianca to the game)Even some of the characters already known appear(The professor, Moneybags, etc)
But, be careful with the glitch of the speedways. If you get out of a speedway before getting the egg of the race, you will never get it!!!!!!!If you want to fix it:
-Contact SONY
-Begin a new game
-Buy the Sony's Greatest Hits edition(loading this game with the memory card which contains the "glitched" saved game. Play that part, and you should get the egg
-If you need to get out of the level, reset the playstation
-Or simply get all the eggs before leaving the level.
If you want to buy a game of Spyro, I recomend you this one. The only way you can hate this game, is by hating Spyro.

This is the best game I've ever played, I've had it for two years and still haven't beaten it. When I first got it, I couldn't get past Spike, I couldn't even find enough eggs to go to certain levels. Then, last night, I put it in and played all night and got passed Evening Lake! I still can't find enough eggs though. I read the atlas and can't figure it out!! But its still the best game ever! I just wish they'd give maps, not directions.

Spyro is a really cool game to play. It's funny, additive and has got cool graphics and music. The game is pretty easy though, but has some good challenges with the bosses. I really enjoyed the 'videos' in it with Bianca. The funniest part is chasing Moneybags around and getting all your money back. When you finish the game with 100% you can go on to a super bonus world, which completes your game with 117%. Also if you try out some cheats you can do cool stuff, like turn Spyro's head big, or make him flat or change him different colours. There is also a cheat to turn your skateboard into a squid!!! That's one of the many good things about Spyro - you don't only have to collect gems and eggs - you get to skateboard and go in Sparks’s world. Who knows maybe there are other things you can do... So buy this game - its number 1!!

This is the best spyro ever!!!!! He does need some better games but most of all it is good. I mean some boards are very hard and he needs to be able to fly or run faster. I like the kangaroo chick sheila she is my favorite player. Get different bad guys. in almost all of the boards it is Rhynocs how boring. Over all it is a BLAST

this has to be the best playstation game ever created. You can play as four diffrent characters, and as if that weren't enough, you ca control diffrent vehicles like UFO's and submerines and hovercraft too! I could play this game forever and not get bored! the graphics are phenominal and the music is the best! But the only downfall of this game is that cheatcodes do not work! Maybe it's because my additionof this game is the greatest hits version I don't know! but still, this is the best of Insomniac Games. Thank you Insomniac!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!
P.S.Did I mention how cool the worlds are?!?!?!?!

Spryro 3 is one of the best games I have ever played, I've only given it a nine because when youre on a speedway you have to get the first two eggs. I enjoyed the graphics and I thought this was really well done. The game itself is generally quite easy to play. I find this game great fun to play and I enjoy the music. I dont usualy play things like spyro, I generally stick to things such as Tomb Raider and dino crisis, I enjoy spyro because the adventures vary and there is plenty of things to do such as skateboard, play other charactures,riding submarines, riding hunters manta ray and things like that. I enjoy watching the cut scenes. I am constantly playing spyro now and it drives others up the wall with me always going on about it. Unfortunatly I havent managed to complete the game yet and am still trying. I dunno about anyone else but I have found the between level monsters quite easy, although I had to practise a bit first. I have thoughurly enjoyed this game and I do hope that every one else enjoyed it as much as I have.

i danno about u but these levels on spyro 3 totaly rock...i mean you cant beat bamboo terince in radings... with the little polight panda that says 'im sure you would succeed if you are to try again.yeah so buy this game who dont have it its worth it.

I think that some of the eggs that you had to get were a little lame because in the begaining I know but some times I get stuck and Spyro needs to come out with some cooler games to bring up the score rating of their games. And some of the levels were cool but some of the eggs you had to get were pretty impossible to most people I bet that have played it. And also some of the levels in the worlds were real weird because the Dinosaur level was weird, you had to hit the targets with that monkey dude.WEIRD

Spyro 3 is one of the best games on PS1 and the best in the Spyro series!!Spyro 3 is set over 4 different worlds which together contain over 30 colourful and beautiful levels.The graphics in Spyro 3 are the best PS1 graphics can get.The sound are so virtual that it feels like you are there.Every level is packed with action and adventure taking Spyro to the next level.The game is longer than the first two put together and is three times harder.The best thing about this game is that now you can play up to 5 different characters including Sparx the dragonfly,Sheila the kangaroo,Sargent Bird the only flying penguin,Bently the snow monster and Agent 9 the space monkey.There are also tons of mini-games,challenges and Spyro even goes Tony Hawks style and goes skatboarding mad.Spyro 3 is the best platform/adventure game on PS1 that no other game can come close too.It's a challenging and fun game for all ages that no one can dislike.

Well, I've finally finished Spyro 3, and this is my absoloute favorite Spyro game!! I LOVE the new worlds, and that you don't have to pay Moneybags to learn to swim underwater, headbash, and climb. Bianca is cool, and the puzzles are between easy and difficult. A very nice touch were the eggs. When the dragons hatch, they all do something different. My favorite part were the other characters to play. Sheila the kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd, Bently the yeti, and Agent 9 the monkey. (Sheila's my fav.) BUY THIS GAME!!!! don't just rent it, 'cause you'll hate to have to return it.

Didja catch the South Park referance? Anyway,I LOOOOOOOOVE this game. just when you think Spyro cant get any better, it does. How does Insomniac do it? How can they pack the most actionpacked game I have ever played on one small black disk? I thought it was pretty tough(it took me ages to beat the first boss, Buzz) but it made the game all the better. The graphics dwarf the last two games, the levels are so intricatly created you can get overwhelmed by there size and skateboarding, boxing, speedboating, submarining, swimming, skating, supercharging, flying(Sgt.Byrd), hopping(Shiela), whacking(Bently), blasting and bombing(Agent9) and spraying rockets, fire, bombs and bullets(Sparx)is just bloody brilliant. I have finally beaten the entire game, have 118% completion, defeated the sorceress twice(!), seen Bianca and Hunter kiss, yuck!, entered and finished the super bonus worlds, have all 128 dragon eggs, have found the last dragon egg(which happens to be ying-yang, who are twins) found all the skill points, opened all the levels and challenges, beaten the snowboard six and their time record by one second and seen all of the chracters epilouge! Phewww!
Graphics fantastic, sound excellent, crammed with gameplay, incredible chracters and bosses, brilliant levels, top challenges, perfect balance between easy and difficult, cracking mini-games and wicked vehicles.(My favorite is the mini-spaceship) The makings of a pure and perfect, allround solid, flipping brilliant platform game. Insomniac have created a game which all other games should be based. Spyro is the king of platformers, bar none!

This game is AWESOME! The music, graphics, characters and plot are all great! Its taken me 5 months to get 100% done, its that challenging! I love it! Its cool how characters take turns playing. You dont get bored with playing with the same person! All the cheats work on mine, so I had help! :) (and its a greatest hits version) Now I see why it was made a greatest hits! If you rent this game, you'll for sure buy it, so why bother wasting your money with renting? Buy this game! Its SO worth! (It was worth the 19.95 I paid!

I loved this Spryo out of all of them, I was so into it that I finished it in a week and a half. At first some of the challenges were hard but once you get in sync its not impossible. All the different characters make it diverse so the game dosen't get too get boring. I can't wait till I buy the fourth and fifth , well when the fifth comes out. I recommend buying the game, but if you dont like these types of games, don't their not right for everyone. But I certainly loved it.

Insomniac has done it again. The color, the sound, the characters, the humor, the challenge. I love this little purple dragon. The game is challenging, but not so challenging it can't be conquered. The challenge is to finish a level and still get to bed in time to get up in the morning.

This Spyro the Dragon game is a descent game. I mean, this one is better than the first two in certain ways but the originals are the best. This one has cool mini-games but the storyline is horrible. The music is still kind of like the last two. I think the rating I gave this game is honest.

To start off with this game is so good because there is so much to do and you get to play six diffrent characters. sheila,sgt.byrd,bentley,agent 9,spyro and sparx.The best thing is the mini games at the end of every level.Good one insomaniac.

Definitely the Best Game for Playstation I've ever played. Spyro 1 & 2 were both great, but Spyro 3 is the bomb! I especially like the many characters you can play! The bosses are the coolest ones yet by far! The only disadvantage to it is, like Spyro 1 & 2, is the veiw you have. Other than that, no game, not Spyro 1 or 2, not Tiny Tank, not even Crash, is as good as Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon!

I found that Spyro: Year of the Dragon was the best game on playstation that I ever played! That is, while it lasted. In 3 days i had found that I had 100%, including the skill points! Of course, I had played it about 12 hours each day, but i expected a bit more of a challenge. The first Spyro was so difficult that I just figured out how to beat it a week ago. The second one was just as hard. I just felt that this one was fun, but too short.
