There are a few great games for the P.S. and hogs of war is definetly one of them!!I loved this game becuase of its gameplay you can`t get bored from it!!The graphics are great for the time except for the distance because you can`t see far enough..its so funny, it will give you a great time playing it..there is also a multiplayer so you can laugh with your friends as you battle with these pigs!!The teams are very fun each with a very unique costum,there are also dozens of weapons from TRANQUILIZERS to AIR STRIKES!!A great feature of this game is that you can jump and use TURRETS,TANKS,APC`s, PILLBOXES, and even DUCKS(amphibious apc)!!

this game kicks butt, it is so funny and in my opinion is the only real challenger of the worms game series. It is so good, when is there going to be a sequal/??? if there was a sequal it would be so good, because with the capabilities of the ps2, xbox etc the graphics would own and add so much more to the game play

I love this game sooooooooo much!!! it's 1 of my favirots ever since my cousin gave it to me.im stuck on this one level in the second country.it's way better then this other game called driver1 and 2 driver 2 used to be one of my favirots but know hogs of war!!!!!!

i got this game a long time ago and it is great! i still cant get enough of it. iv beat it 3 times and it gest keeps getting better. the best game in the world would be hogs of war 2. it should have more weapons more teams and online capabilities. it would be a big hit. i love this game and i will never give it up.

I bought Hogs of War and I played a mission. It's one of those games that doesn't look too good but when you get into the game it gets challenging. I enjoy because you get choose your pigs and test them against the enemy. I also like that good winning feeling which you get a lot in this game. There's also a multiplayer mode which isn't as good as the mission you have to admit. This game is a bit old however and you probably won't find it in a shop.

Hogs of War Fantastic game for all the family.
Never boring better then worms, suitable for all ages to enjoy
time and time again, only game ever found difficult to find in shops even second hand as gives this games up until no
longer playable. - needs to be put on playstation 2.

woo hoo!hogs of war is so brilliant it should be givin a knighthood(mmm,sir hogs of war sounds prety cool!). ive ad it for yonks and still cant get a nuff of it.the sound is positivly buzzing(the rhyme"navy blue,rhymes with poo ,scrape it off the bog and wipe on you still aves me in fits of laughter!)the grathics may not be as clene and sharp as ps2 games but it slaughters them at its comedy value!this is my best game for my ps1 and ranks very high in my ps2 games!they should make hogs of war 2 for the ps2 and it would beat all games into the ground!

hogs of war is a brilkliant game taaken fro worms and armageddon if uve seen them ull no its all about war with worms with different weapons but hogs of war is not only 3D but its with PIGS!!!fabulous commentry and brilliant humour example "ever kills me what do i smell?" from garlic grunts team "if i miss u shall punish me" from piggystroika i loved the way the islands were shaped like a pig and got all the names right too for the head its called hoghead belly is bellyopolis and arse is well ARSTRIA. this is a MUST play game fantastic graphics brilliant sound great multiplayer and finnally wonderful funny videos lovely!!

I first thought It would be $hit but when I played it I saw great weapons. TNT,mines,tanks,rifles but best of all,there all pigs and fighting for swill(pigs food).Also theres some nutty team names like Uncle Hams an Hogs and Team Lard.IT IS GGGGRRRRREEEEAATTT!.

The game is made well but it will never reach superstar standards. I have many games but this one is my best because it's hard to get bored. When I fail a mission I try to do it better thats what so good about it. You can get fustrated a lot. I'm addicted to the gameplay.

Worms, ever played it, I'm sure you have, that mix of comedy with worms and weapons is a dream mixture. Now imagine a 3D landscape and the worms have twirly tails, feet, a snout, and a passion for swill. Yes you've guessed it, Pigs! The intro is very good and humourous, to get you in the mood of Pigs at War. The one player mode will probably be the first thing you have a go at. Choose what team you want to go with. The predominantly British, Tommy Trotters, The Russian Communiststs, Piggystrokia, The German Piggies, Sow-A-Krauts, The very Japaneese (and disliked) Sushi Swine, The Firery French, Garlic Grunts and finally, the American-Elvis mix team, Uncle Ham's Hogs. Leading your pigs through the 6 islands of Saustralasia in the South Pigsific, Hogshead, Saustarlia, Trotsville, Bellyopolis, Arstria and finally, the minute island of The Isle of Swill,(Which all of these, funnily resemble the shape of a pig, with the corresponding names going at the right place) you fight a total of 25 battles trying to control the Swill, thus then the World! Rik Mayall adds variety to the sound and the graphics and gameplay are very satisfying.
The graphics are satisfyingly good, with several varied terrains, although in later levels, distance graphics don't show leaving some piggies floting in mid air. The explosions are very good and there is virtualy no pop-up and the collision detection is very good, you can't walk into a hill or another pig.
The sound is execellent, especially with Rik Mayall backing it up with commentary and the very funny accented comments from the Pigs. In Skirmish mode, he'll make comments like, "Just becuase you're good at everything doesn't mean everybody likes you." And for added effect, the pigs react with facial expressions!
Gameplay is very good. The mix between humour, pigs, the storyline and war is very good. Leading you pigs to control the swill of Saustrasia is very funny and comediac.
Although the game idea is not very original, the 3D makes a refressing change to your normal war games, like Worms, and unlike Worms, if a pig collects a crate, only IT can use the items inside. Also, different careers add variety, Have a team full of Heavy Weaponers or Spies, or have a full team of special ops commandos. Getting these ranks means you have to win medals, by winning battles, getting your piggies through a level without being obliterated, or following special orders. The turn idea and time to make you move and if you hurt yourself, your go is over, is taken from Worms, but is needed
Multiplayer? Yes! A brilliant multiplayer in which upto 3 of your friends plus yourself can play via multitap adding great variety. Of course, this is the heartblood of the game and its very satisfying to know that it is excellent fun, and the Landscape generator is a good laugh, try typing you boss or teachers nickname in it and see what it come up with!
Overall, this is the best comedian War Game on the Playstation, better than Worms or anything of the like, and with a RRP of £29.99, it's a bargain, especially if you have an EB loyalty card.
Graphics -8- Very Good, except maybe the distance loss.
Sound -10- Absolutely perfect, Rik Mayall adding so much to the game.
Originality -8- New ideas bring a refreshing change to this over-exploited game genre.
Gameplay -10- Playing one-player is great, just get some friends round....
Lifespan -9- One player is a considerable challenge, and the Multiplayer adds lots of life to this alredy long lifed game.

Hogs of war is very interesting with a great gameplay. There is one bad thing about hogs of war and that is if you get further in the game the time they give you is not enough and it gets realy hard.
