Hello I like Final Fantasy 9 because it is such a great game it was the frist time I have ever played an Final Fantasy game but i tryed the rest but they all seemed to hard so I stuk with Final Fantasy 9.
My favorite characters are Adelbert Steiner Amarant Coral Eiko Crol Ferya Crescent, and Garnet Qunia and Zidane an Vivi Quina's okay I mean she or he brang out the funnyest in the game he or she never made sence lol and about Kuja well he's mean that's the only reason why I dont like him, The was only one amasing this that I htought was neat when I played FF9(Final Fantasy 9) there was this girl that looked just like me and it was the Princess Garnet. The reason why I like this game so much is becuase I relate to it alot I im alot like garnet and i im just like all the people in ff9 some times.
The things I like to do are helping people never give up on things that are important to you and I like going on adeventures and going out side I live in a small home town called Norwich New York and it's peaceful Some times I like to chat on AOL and My screen name is Sarah Til Perry and also anorther thing Garnets mittle name is Til and that's my Mittel name to...Well thank you for reading my thing about why I like FF9 and if you want and you like Final Fantasy 9 I wouldn't mind if you chated with me on AOL thanks for reading...

I knew final fantasy 9 would be good because i saw my brother play it. When i started playing it was so easy but later on it got harder. The good part about the game is that there are many side quests you can do. That makes the game a lot more interesting. My favorite character is Vivi. The game is also good because you can understand where you are supose to go. All the other games i play are harder to understand. Final Fantasy 9 will always remain as my favorite game.

I have loved the Final Fantasy series since i was little, and I still love them! FF9 is awesome, at times complicated, but it made me think. It was challenging, but not so difficult that i couldn't beat it. The end was amazing, although I thought there would be more FMV's because I've beat FF8 a kajillion times. I thought FF9 was going to be a disappointment until I bought it and played it, and i loved it!! Kuja is a jerk, but he's the BEST!!! lol. Did that make sense? O.o....The storyline was kewl, and it kept me guessing until I saw "The End" on the screen. Truly amazing, with so many twists and turns! I loved it!

I love final fantasy. This is the first video game I have ever played and I'm glad it was. At first I thought that video games were for boring, stupid people who did nothing but sit at home all day and dream of living. But I was wrong not all video games are for shallow humans. Final Fantasy gives you a thrill. You really connect with the characters and get into the story line. I love going into synthesis shops and making the newest weapons and then getting in to a battle and seeing the cool new things you can do to completely sabotage your enemy. My favorite character is Amarant he's one I can really connect with. He is always making some smart comment about anything but he is always there for his friends.I have played and defeated this game seven times already and the end is quite surprising. You never expect that kind of action out of certain people. So keep playing and you will see what I mean. (I wish that I lived in this game.......................................................................................................)

Final Fantasy Nine has something that the last two games didn't; heart and a great simplicity that was drastically missing in FF8 and FF7. First of all the gameplay is simple, easy and even challenging, and the summons this time will not appear until the second or third disc, which is a very welcoming change since the last two games' could bring a tall man down on his knees with the unwanted repetitive summons FMV. The story may not be 100% original considering that a few of the characters in it have striking or uncanny resemblance with other characters from the other previous titles. But the re-play value is high, and sometimes you just wish that the story could be just a little longer and more mini-games should be inserted in it. I should know since I could manage to finish ever-single mini-game in the series with 100-hours of dedicated playing. The FMV and animations are more than perfect, the ending could shed tears even to the most jaded players, I know that I went down like a baby when the end song finished. Who couldn't considering when you play the game, you could actually feel yourself become one with character, everyone of the unique individuals have at least a tale to tell, a connection to many people out there. The music is excellent and the Song Melodies of Life should go down in history as the most classic love song of the century, but the CD left so much to be desired since it is missing the villains theme-song, sure there is one but it lasted for no more than 2 minutes. And then there is the controversial villain, Kuja, who at first fooled us all with his waist and female-like features. The hero is quite amusing considering that this time Squaresoft has decided enough of the brooding-dark-past heroes who does whatever it is they had too because they were just forced to. Zidane has that cheeky monkey grin(no pun intended) and a soul that can make anyone smile even at the bleakest moment. The heroines are done nicely, except that Eiko can get on your nerves with her spunky, tomboyish, jealous attitudes. There is the other weird character: Quina...not much is said about her/him since she is just a tour guide for the group at a pivotal
session of the story. We could only hope that one day Squaresoft would make another game, which is as special as this, but like in the fantasy world, we could only dream.

I love Final Fantasy IX. I bought it January 2002. It has a great story line and I love the summons and the magic. The characters are incredible. The abilities. I don't think it has any flaws what so ever. It was the first Final Fantasy game I have ever played. The gameplay rocks. I like how you can set what controller you want your characters can be controlled on, so you can play.... two players. Right now I am at Ipsen's Castle. My favorite character is Vivi. I wish I were in the game my self, it is so exciting and never ceases to amaze me. I want to beat and beat it again over and over again. So I hope many more people buy the game and enjoy it as I have. Thank you.

this is a good game i like the mini games skipping is the best thou me and my friend use to sit and play the game skipping for hoursand get some ok items its a good game and u should play it! get it now!! it is an awsome game almost as good as final fanasy 7!

Hey, it's me again. I've been messing with my game again. The summons I've gotten are the greatest! I mean, I had some cool ones before, but now, their almost udescribably awsome! I don't want to ruin it for new gamers, so I won't give their names or attacks. And I've found Garnets real name. I personally didn't know she had a different one, but her name is Dagger. Hey, gotta go keep playing! I'll write a new reveiw later.

final fantasy 9 is the best game for playstation in the world i love it! the battle system, the weapons, the side quests, everything! i'm glad that i bought it it's the best game ever made! my family loves it (with the exeption of my mom and dad!) my brother especially loves it and i'm very glad i got it! and for u new people that are looking for a new playstation game i recomend final fantasy 9!

I think, is not one of the best, but THE VERY BEST of all FF, I'll never gonna be tired of this game, is the best, the story and the mini games, the chocobo's treasure hunting, the friendly monsters, the battle system, the map system, the trailers, are the Best, i JUST LOVE IT, it's very dramatic, when you find out 'bout vivi, and where zidane came from, but... I have no more words, and the CARD GAME, yeaah, i think it's so cool (¬¬ once you have all the card collection) (it makes me very happy) when I defeat OZMA T.T (it's harder than the last one), in short LOVE IT!!!!

I personally never liked video games before. My brother-in-law has FF9 and I can't get enough of it! How could those people think that FF9 is the worst game? It is not, down to the last second it keeps you guessing and learning new skills. The side games are really cool, the grapics couldn't be better. The music creates a great background, especially during battles and the movies. The originality is great! I mean, I love writing stories of magic and love, but never in a million years could I have thought of something like this story. The game being four disks long makes it more fun 'cause you don't play it for ten minutes then quit. Some say that it's a waste of your time and life, but I totally disagree. This game gives you great hand-eye coordination, and really is the greatist video game ever!

Okay, Ive played many games, many Final Fantasy. This is by far, the best in the series. Enchant your world with the world of Zidane and the others. This is one of the best games out. Many different adventures, Bosses, Level up System, And a cool Ability System. How can any other game be as good as this one? This is a perfect game. Its graphics could use work but it has great music, A trading card game, Mini Games, And even humor. This is not a game for all. It does contain profound language and stuff like that. So if you don't like games with cussing, Then this won't interest you. This is a game that hit stores wild. I had it and It gave me a fun time. I still have dreams about this game and I was one of the first to play it. I got it as soon as it came out. This is by far the best Final Fantasy game ever!

I mean, come on... It's better than FF7 AND FF8, i liked both of them better but the 4 person in a battle made up for it greatly, FFIII is unbeatable no matter WHAT they make it WILL NOT beat 3(Tactics being the only exeption), its just that good (6 sucked, 3 (same game diff system) was better, less fancy stuff more storyline). 10 Owns 9 also, worst FF yet i say, BUT it IS a Final Fantasy game, therefore it is better than ANY non-FF game. It has too little storyline for too much complication, i dont like the ability system, i like to be able to get abilities with or without great weps. Overall review: ok but nothing to get overexited about.

When I played Final Fantasy 9 I was sceptic of it ever being good. Now that I have played it I see that it's by far the best one yet! I just loved the cute chocobos and the story line was awesome! It makes Final Fantasy 5-8 seem boring!

Final Fantasy 9 is boring at first but one you get further into it the game will start getting funner.The characters are great for the game and the graphics are awesome.The story line is good to but they could of made it better and the game could've been shortened to two discs.

Whats the matter with you guys? The game is very very coooool!!!!!!!!! Not the best ff but it is one of the greatest ff in history. I love the stories of vivi and zidane dont forget garnet. Only 2 things lack...first only garnet and eiko can summon gfs or eidolons.Second is about the trance thing. I hate it bec you need to wait a long time just for 1 battle! The weapons are fantastic. Zidane doesnt need any magic. His attack sweeps the enemy !!The chocobo thing ? Its great although quite boring bec of the finding treasures stuff.Its one heck of a game!!

FF IX was great for one simple reason - It took the best of new and old school and rolled it into one. My review of Anthology was that it was the best, my review of VII was that it would be remember by all who played and my review of VIII was that it owned even though hated by many. So what do I have to say about IX - another good review. This game was fun and at times emotional. I grew to love the charecters and their world. Zidane and Garnet was a good story though I liked Vivi's story more. It all in all had a positive vibe and is a solid FF game.

i want to tell you that if you are checking this page because you dont know if you want to buy it.And if you are reading this message I'll tell ya tou buy it. This game rocks. but final fantasy VII(7) or VIII(8) are better.

Graphics 10 -the graphics are cool, its like watching movies
Sound 10 -it has good music depending on what are you doing
Gameplay 10 - you can move freely and do cool stuff
Originality 6 - it has a copy of ff7 and 8, but its still cool!

it kinda takes awhile to learn all the moves . i Just stay in one area until i learn all the moves that i can . this is going to be my 4th time .I know alot lol kinda . The graphics are great but they need to make a movie with all thoses charcters !! they need to talk !!! well its a kewl game ...
