Atleast we had a cricket game. | | A gamer from Sydney, Australia says (19/Dec/2001): | From the start, Shane Warne Cricket looks to have everything. Freindlies, world cup, world series, knockout, test series, test season and classic mode. Apart from what the game is called and that all World Series are held in Australia, the game is very much english. Village mode doesn`t take to long to master, county is a bit harder but not too much. And test mode is hard until you play it enough. It`s too hard to bowl. The batsmen look the same (exept for the helmets and what handed batsman they are) The computer never leave and even when there team is 9\9 they still try to smash you out of the ground. But against mates is were Shane Warnes Cricket is great. Just a slog out. But it gets to frustrating to last more than a year.
| 8/10 Definitley a Codemasters Classic. Best cricket game ever | | S.Mosedale from Bunbury, Western Australia says (18/Dec/2000): | Shane Warne has done it again for Australia but this time on Playstation and PC. The graphics are great, the gameplay is super, and it is named after the greatest spin bowler ever to live . What more could you want? This game is the greatest cricket game ever because:
1.The players names are real, with up to date statistics of almost every player in the world.
2. You can relive the action of the 1996 World Cup, play with Sir Donald Bradman , or just try and see how many sixes u can hit in 1 over but no matter what you do with it you must admit it is a good game!
